What I didn't like of her character in the show, I happily change in my stories. "I reject your reality and substitute my own." is the phrase I live by in fanfic. (as spoken by Adam Savage on Mythbusters) I've only been writing a short time, but love making up stories in my head. Have for a long time. Hopefully, I'll be able to translate that to the written word interestingly enough for others.

My favorite thing to do is to pair Buffy up with non-BtVS characters. Really most any hero figure from fandoms I know will work, but the best are those that know weird stuff is out there.

(February 6, 2012): Break out the party hats! I have my B.S. now! Unfortunately, I still have real life things keeping me from focusing on my writing as much as I'd like: a move/job hunt...that kind of crap. But I will keep trying to update when I can - scout's honor, even though I wasn't in the scouts exactly. I was a leader, though. Does that count?

(September 1, 2012) Woot again! I finally got my foot in the door job-wise. To be honest, I'm not sure how this will affect my writing, but I'm hoping that once I get used to the overnight schedule (and the sleep patterns that go with it), life will settle down again. I'm just glad I was able to finish the Fic-a-Day challenge while going through the training this last week.
