I'm Manx (a native of the Isle of Man) - at least by marriage and residence; my wife Curiouslywombat is Manx by blood. By birth I'm English and I was brought up in Africa.

I would like to point out that I work an alternating shift pattern that means that I have periods of several days at a time in which I have no time for writing whatsoever, followed by several days in which I have almost unlimited writing time. Consequently I tend to write in intensive bursts and I might make several posts in quick succession. There will then be a period of total inactivity. My updates will be very irregular and unpredictable.
