I have been writing stories for many, many years and I hope I am getting better at it. I am known within my family as an "English Weenie" due to my 7 years of college getting my BA and MA in English. Of course, I have so many interests, I get sidetracked far too often. I always come back to my writing, but it may take a while.

I live for feedback, so please be so kind as to review my stories. I am open to suggestions as well, so feel free to let me know what you think.

Unfortunately, since my children have been born, I have been having a VERY difficult time focusing on writing. That is the reason that "Losing Faith" is barely hanging on in life support. I hesitate to say that it has been abandoned (since I do still have all my notes and I would certainly like to continue it), but it has been 4 years or more since I updated, hasn't it? I'm sorry, I really am. :(

A slight warning for anyone whose stories I may review: I almost never do the numeric rating thing in my reviews. I can NOT seem to make myself give a perfect 10 to anything, even if it is really great, because there is always room for improvement. It is a silly hang-up I have that I can just not seem to get over.

I like to read almost everything, but I do have three very important rules that I really want observed if you want me to read your story:

#1- No permanent killing off of Faith. After all, she is my favorite. I also prefer her to not be EVIL. That is, she can be a baddie like in the show, but she should still have a conscience. Reformed or Never-actually-a-baddie Faith are my favorite-favorites (yes, that may necessitate complete AU). And if you can give her a happy ending? Ideal! This "rule" is not a deal-breaker for me, since I have and still do read stories where Faith is gone.

#2- No stupid "IM Speak," like using 'u' for 'you' or any of those other horrible "shortcuts." And I mean even in author's notes. If you want to be seen as intelligent, you need to write intelligently. If you don't mind being seen as a fluff-brain, go for it and I'll ignore you to the best of my abilities.

#3- No male slash, mPreg, incest. I just find those to be "Yuck!" Also in that category would be gross-out for its own sake. This IS a deal-breaker. If these show up, the story will be dropped from my reading list and likely "hidden" as well.
