I'm just your average fic fan...who's something of a crossover geek. I've been around forever under one name or another. I hold the opinion that most professional creators of fictional universes eventually lose sight of what the hell they're doing. After that it's up to the fic writers to pick up the slack. It happens almost without fail sooner or later. The only fictional universe that I feel never let me down was Babylon 5. All the others belong in the hands of the ficsters, and not those who hold the copyrights.
