I absolutely love the Dollhouse, but as with all Joss Whedon/Fox studio pair up recently Fox is not giving the Dollhouse a fair go.

I Love the Dollhouse because it's by Joss Whedon who is awesome. And the show itself has so many twists I never know what will happen next and I love it. The show is so original and unique, the characters are so believable and lovable, so real, the plots are simply amazing  and sets are just awesome.

I love the whole premise and I just have to know happened next. Don't leave us hanging about Alpha. Just don't...

Join us and save the dollhouse

So a relative gave us a whole crate full of little milks the other day as the place he works over estimated how much they were going to use up on the Easter week end, so have a lot of milk to drink up. I dropped a carton so I opened it up and called the dog over, he looked so funny lapping it up.

I went out with Mum and my brother today to check out a sale at Harvey Normans and I showed mum this awesome tripod thingy called a monkey grip, the legs are moveable so they can grip things like poles etc. Anyway since I didn't like a shirt mum got me for my birthday she bought me a monkey grip :D

So it was my birthday today I actually got more this year than last year go figure. So now I have a hooded jacket, a new hand bag and a scarf. There's also a shirt but I'm not sure I like, I don't like frilly stuff.

Dinner was nice though, I wanted to have Sheppard's Pie without the mash so Dad decided to put eggplant on top, but he didn't cook it first so it was a bit raw and we didn't want to leave it in the oven until was because we were going to be eating late enough as it was.

Also my little sister made me a cake and even decorated it. It was a chocolate cake, using the same recipe that Dad used to use for our birthday cakes, when I was still into Birthday Parties. And she decorated it because she wanted to experiment with something as she wants to be a chef. So have to eat all her practise/experiments.

Well I got my P2's a week or so ago, so I have less restrictions on my licence now. Not a whole lot else going on.

I am glad I'm back in Rocky but as Cyclone Hamish hasn't come close enough here to affect us, but the Whitsundays got a bit of a battering, so I'm glad I wasn't there for that. I hope everyone who was/will be affected is safe, I won't pray for them as I am an atheist and don't really believe in God.

So I didn't move to the Gold Coast, there are a lot of reasons why and I guess I let some of the fester by pushing them to the back of my mind, and convincing myself it would all work out like the Boss kept telling me. So on moving day it all came to a head and I just couldn't do it., there was cry involved that's all I'm saying. Which was probably not the best time for it but things were moving really fast and I maybe didn't have time to think about it as the boss was talking about opening a GC office in August and then all of a sudden it was happening in the next two weeks.

So yeah I am back in the bosom of my family and working on getting another job. But since I was a Graphic Artist job I need a portfolio and my former boss has not sent me a separation certificate so I can get benefits etc. and she hasn't let me know if I can use artwork I created on the job in my portfolio, and I'm not supposed to contact clients so what the hell am I supposed to do now? without those artworks my portfolio is kinda pathetic.

Oh also I am trying to do an online one, so I need a name for it and then I am going to need a domain for it to be more professional etc. I was thinking something like Dreams of Verdigre since my dolling website is called Violaceous so that keeps it in the V/colour family. But I don't know I'm sure about that.

Oh, I've also uploaded some photos I took in Airlie Beach to my Deviant Art account with more to come.

Well Xmas was ok, all the family was there and I got some ok presents, but even though I haven't read it yet my favourite is a book a got from my little brother called The Host by Stephanie Meyer. I also got money which I spent on new clothes as I've gone down a size and my old clothes didn't fit anymore. As well as a sheet set, some towels, a purse, some smelly stuff and a necklace.

Anyways I am moving to the Gold Coast next week for work, the boss is moving the office down there and so she is paying my moving costs which is awesome. And since the stuff won't be delivered until the Saturday and there won't be anything for me to do work wise or anywhere for me to sleep since my mattress will be on the truck, I get to spend a few days in Rocky. I might even get to check out the new Library, can you tell that I'm a book worm?

I'm going back to Rocky for Xmas :D It'll be great seeing everyone again and not working, but I am not looking forward to father smoking around me. There is still quite a bit I have to do before I leave, but I've been feeling a bit off I think I have a touch of the flu.

I have just finished reading the book Betrayal, which is a Star Wars book set in the time period called the Legacy of the Force which is set 13 years or so after the Yuuzhan Vong war.

I had read a book set after this one where Jacen was a Sith and as I was reading that book all I could think was WHAT THE HELL JACEN IS A SITH???? Yes the capitals are on purpose. So Betrayal is kinda that start of Jacen’s journey to becoming Sith even though events had kinda been leading up to it. But after reading the book the Sith ideals and how the Hell Jacen could have become a Sith makes a creepy and sick kind of sense. He did it out of love and is a hell of a lot more believable that Anakin The Idiot Skywalker.
So after reading it some ideas for a story that had been percolating in my mind crystallized and I felt this overwhelming urge to write. So much so that I had to buy a cheap notebook and sit down until I got it out. And then on the way back to my place I kept having to stop and write more. It was like I was possessed or something, and now there are six a4 pages full of my scrawl.

So I leave you with a little bit of what I wrote out.

A King frozen in time as his beautiful Queen slowly turns evil, as their magical child is taken away and locked inside her mind, the raised in the normal world.

The universe brought them together – the heir has never been born to the King and Queen, but is chosen to be theirs by the universe. But something when terribly wrong on their quest to find her and he the previous heir took ill and was lock out of time – appearing frozen in time – never aging.

Their child stolen by evil the Queen despaired and looked for both cure and those who stole her child – slowly neglecting the kingdom that was never rightfully hers and using increasingly desperate and sometimes not quite legal methods. She became disillusioned and lost all that was good about...

So on Halloween my housemates had a party at the house, I went as a witch and it was ok. They never officially invited me/told me about it though, they just left invites around the house. Also I am going back to Rocky for Xmas, I will arrive at about midnight christmas eve/christmas.

I'm sure I have something important to put here, but I'm drawing a blank here and have been for a while.

I finally updated my website, made some new dolls and updated my DA too. I have a snazzy new camera to take awesome photos to put on my DA but I haven't been feeling like taking any photos.

Work is ok, I have to remember to ask what happens around xmas.

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 56.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next seven sentences in your journal along with these instructions.
5. Don't dig for your favorite book, the cool book, or the intellectual one: pick the CLOSEST.

"I always want you," I reminded him, with perhaps a little more intensity than the conversation required.
I expected he would laugh, or smile, or react somehow to my words.
"All right, then," he said indifferently.
He kissed my forehead again before he shut the door on me. Then he turned his back and loped gracefully toward his car.
I was able to drive out of the parking lot before the panic really hit, but I was hyperventilating by the time I got to Newton's.
He just needed time, I told myself. He would get over this.

Well I got the internet on at my place :D Nothing else interesting has happened. Oh I joined the library here, which is great.

Hang interesting stuff did happen, my work mate walked out/got fired not sure which and she's been really scary and abusive. It turns out she wasn't doing such a good job and isn't a very nice person anyway. Her replacement is very nice, I like her.

Well I moved to a more permanent residence about 3 weeks ago on the 9th. Mum and Dad came up here to help me move and it was great to see and hang out with them. I love my new place and best of all they don't smoke/have pets. I think I am a little allergic to animals with fur as I was always itchy at home and the place I was staying when I got here, but now I am not around pets much I'm soo much better.

Last week I went and bought a queen bed mattress, it was a good price and soo comfy, I love stretching out on it. Nothing much else interesting has happened, except I am on some new medication and can't have alcohol/ am really tired at night. In fact I lay down on the couch for ten minutes on Thursday night and the next thing I knew it was 2am.

I got my work shirts today, they are very nice, one is white, one is blue and the other is black.

I finished early because we start early on Wednesdays, so I went looking for a blanket because it gets really cold here at night. Anyway I had to walk quite a way and I took the laptop because I thought I could spend a few dollars and get to use the internet for free, but it turns out you have to spend over $10 for the privilege so I lugged my laptop around for nothing :( I picked up a few networks where I’m staying but one is secured and I only saw the other one once, so no internet for pleasure for me :(

Well that’s it I’m here. I finally got my bags packed and under the weight limit of 20kgs in time to have a relaxing dinner with the family on Thursday night (the 17th) at a really good Chinese food place to say goodbye, and then we went to Baskin and Robins for dessert. I traveled to Proserpine on the train on Thursday night/Friday morning and got in about 7am, where my boss Nicole picked me up and took me to the place I am staying until I get somewhere else.

The week has been pretty good, I haven’t felt like I was getting snowed under or anything. I was a bit bummed out on Wednesday the 23rd because the weather was foul and just pouring with rain, so Aunty Jen and Uncle B dropped off some stuff the family had sent up for me and spent some time with me during my lunch hour and then pushed on, instead of sticking around for a few days. This was something I had really been looking forward too, so I was really disappointed.

The weekend was interesting though, Nicole and I went out on a boat called the Silent Night, on Friday afternoon and came back about lunchtime on Sunday. There were 14 people on the boat in all, and two of them were the crew. Aside from Nicole, myself and the crew everyone else were backpackers and six of them were Irish, it was an invasion lol. Anyway they were all really interesting, but I had a little trouble understanding some of the Irish people sometimes because of their accents. I had fun on Friday night as two of the girls on the boat (Danielle and Rosie) tried to teach me and Sam (one of the crew and a very good cook) to play Rummy, I think Sam got it but I really didn’t get it at all.

There was one bad thing though, I was so incredibly tried I couldn’t enjoy it as much as I would have liked to. I slept for 10 hours on Saturday night and that’s just not normal, I can’t remember a time I haven’t felt tired all the time though, so I am going to see a doctor about that.

The party wasn’t too bad and some of little brother’s friends acted like little kids with the real little kids, which were my little cousins from Brisbane. Aunty Jen and Uncle Brian have packed up the kids and are going to travel around Australia for a few months or so. They timed when they got here to be able to be here for the party, which was very nice since it was a big moment in little brother’s life which Grandma couldn’t be here for. Any way I didn’t get to spend too much time with them as I was still packing etc. to move, which was a bit of a bummer. But they will be heading up Airlie Beach way, so hopefully I will get to spend some time with them then.

I have a job! I had to go to Mackay for a job interview for a position as a graphic artist in Airlie Beach, and the interviewer offered me the job straight up. I’ll have to take some time to get ready to move and little brother’s 18th party is the weekend before I’m supposed head up to Airlie Beach to start work, so it’s not good timing at all. But I can take an extra week if I really need it.

I've been meaning to update of a while and what do you know I finally got around to it.

I went to the show on the 4th with Melissa and Jamie as well as Jamie's wife and sons. It was ok I guess, there were a lot of new rides and the Ferris Wheel was amazing. It was really snazzy with automatic doors and air conditioning, the view was amazing, it made me wish I had brought the camera along as the one in my phone is not very good. Other than that it wasn't that great, but the hanging out with friends was fun.

On the following Tuesday I when to the movies with Mel to see Prince Caspian, the latest Narnia movie. It was great, even though it doesn't follow the book completely it follows it a lot more than say Ella Enchanted. And the action was amazing, also the guy who plays Caspian is hot, and I LOVE his accent, pity it isn't real. Afterward Mel went home and I found the car wouldn't start, and my phone was being dozy and wouldn't let me into the phone book so I couldn't call Mel back.

I called the RACQ and when they turned up they couldn't find out what was wrong with it, but they manage to get it started so I could go home. So we put the car in to get looked at and they couldn't find anything wrong with it either. But it works now so go figure.

Since my phone seemed to be giving out I bought a new one with money I got from Centerlink, they had in their records that I had worked at Baskin and Robins and earnt $500 so they had to pay some more money since I didn't have as much as they thought I did, because I never worked at Baskin and Robins. Any way I am very happy with my phone, it is a Sony something and plays mp3s, I would like to get a bigger memory card for it but they are expensive.

Anyway last Friday I got asked if I was available for a job interview for a job at Airlie Beach. So I am going to Mackay on Thursday night for an interview on Friday at lunch time, in Mackay. depending on when I need to start if I get the ...

I've lost about 8kgs now, I'm feeling more hungry lately though. In other news the job at Bunning which was supposed to be 3 days of eight hour shifts turned into one eight hour shift on the first day and four hours on the next two days. There were about half the people this time compared to last year and apparently we were all too good, as it was the fastest stocktake ever.

Not much else has been happening. I am getting into dolling again and am trying to update my website as I haven't since August last year, which is kinda sad really.

I got my glasses last week, they are very nice and I helped pick out new frames for Mum too. I've got a job at the local Bunnings for three days stocktaking starting tomorrow, and I have to attend this job search training thing every week day from 1-4 since I don't have a job yet. I never knew job searching could be so hard.

Anyway on Monday my computer died :( But I managed to get all my stuff off it. But then I had to reload or the programs and get dad to take an image of it so I don't have to do it again.

I'm going well with Celebrity slim, I've already lost 4 kgs.

We went to the beach yesterday morning since we were all free, and we took our dog Duffy too. The last time we took him to the beach he had a great time swimming around. But this time he was scared of it and didn't even want to wade at first. Although that may be because no one would go in with him.

Also I need new glasses and I might be getting them by the middle of next week. I have to spend money on other things too. Most noteably on fixing the bonnet of the car since it won't close properly.
