Hey guys!

So I'm just making a post to ask you guys to PM me your addresses so I can get your Christmas cards sent out? I don't have ALL your addresses, as I lost my address book twice in the last 2 yrs, once when my bag was stolen and then when I lost the next one after a long train ride.

This year I have a full proof plan though! I'm going to keep 2 address books! One for my handbag and one at home in my desk! Idiot proof, hopefully. LOL!

If you aren't bothered about a card, I won't be offended, but I'd love to send out more than just family like I have been doing, you know?

You guys are my buds, and I'd like you to know it when you see my pretty card on your mantel this year,so please drop me a line and let me know your all doing ok, as well as an address to get one sent out.

I know i said i was on hiatus, which technically i am, but i wanted to drop a quick message to ask you all who are wanting to do christmas cards this year to PM me your addresses and i'll send you mine in return.

I had a list of addresses from last year, but when i lost all the files from my other USB drive, it also deleted the txt file i'd saved them all to for remembering.

It honestly seems like i just haven't had time for anything lately. That includes livejournal too. 1000 apologies, my friends. LOL.


I recently got some more shocking health news, e.g. i now have some serious kidney problems, as well as blood pressure being up and various other cr@ppy things, that i honestly can't even begin to explain. So i just won't. Anyways. . .


The post i made before, saying i was working on an icon post, is about 50% done. I have a couple of Buffy icons, and one or two True Blood done, and i'm also thinking of working on a texture pack, but am still a bit undecided? Would you guys want to see me try textures next? I'd really like to see what you think?


Hopefully i will get the post out BEFORE the end of the month, like i promised. But if i don't, then you can just refer to the above comment and snag one of my thousands of apologies. There's plenty to go around.


As a last mention, is there any specific icons you guys want to see? I'm trying to get back into crossovers again, but am finding it a little hard, if you guys want to give me any suggestions for pairings? Also, i'm going to try and do some bigger arts, like way back when. Maybe some Last.fm icons again and a couple of banners, if you guys want to request any for your themes or forums etc?

I come onto LiveJournal after being gone for quite a while, being in hospital twice and REALLY ill, i might add, and find people i thought were good friends have just un-friended me and turned their backs?!?

Wow, guys. Seriously. Thanks for the support.

Some of you know that even getting internet access in a hospital is rare, let alone allowed to be used by a patient when they do. I've managed maybe two or 3 little messages and maybe a comment on something here or there before getting booted off, or even maybe because i've dozed off due to all the medication i'm currently on?

If a certain someone hadn't thought i'd been gone so long and emailed to check on me, i guess i wouldn't even be posting this for those of you who still want to know me at all. But i thought i should say something, as i'm sick of being the silent one in the background all the time, who people only give a cr@p about, when i'm doing something for them, or just there as entertainment till they've got what they want.

Thanks, but no thanks. A friend, whether over the net or not, is someone who sticks with you through the good and bad, and doesn't mind that sometimes i'm gone for periods of time, due to being so ill.

I'm not giving names, but i'm glad that i can rely on the rest of you. It really brightened my day when i opened that email. .There might have even been a few tears. LOL.

But thanks, either way. You are a true friend.

For the rest of you, i just want to say that i'm going to get back into the flow eventually, and i've started a small batch of icons already, which i might post sometime beginning this next month, depending on time between appointments, check-ups and just generally how i'm doing.

So far so good though, right?

I've really missed hanging out online with all you guys and just having fun. I can't wait to catch up with all of you!

Step One

Can't help wondering if i've done something i shouldn't, or haven't done something that i should have?

Everybody seems to be de-friending me, all of a sudden?

To those who haven't, i'm happy something has stayed the same while i've been sick again

I've only really managed to do a couple of icons and i have wanted to do some crossover ones since before i got the flu, but just haven't had the energy to sit at my computer longer than 20 minutes without falling asleep.

Last time i tried, i gots told off *pout*

On the plus side, my 'sort of' ex, Nick, has been a complete darling and every time i nod off, he just picks me up and puts me back in my pile of blankets on my bed. .Then he runs off and washes his hands because he don't want my flu-germs :P

LOL.

Hope nobody else has this dreadful bug too. I've been on/off for almost a fortnight now. One minute i start to feel better, then suddenly i'm back to square one again. It's not much fun :(

On the plus side, the internet has been a fantastic source for my christmas shopping this year.

Although i STILL haven't got a clue when it comes to shopping for guys older than 10, A. K. A. brother, dad & Nick :S

Has someone hacked a bunch of journals or something?

I logged onto my friends page for a bit of catching up, and all i see is some weirdo posting sexy videos and adverts for cheap handbags and stuff, instead of what is usually posted in those journals by the peeps i know who own them.

WTH is going on? Anyone know? IS it a hacker? Or is it some sort of internal joke i TOTALLY missed and now look like the idiot of the group?

Hey guys. Just a quick message to say i've been lagging in that last update due to being ill again :S

I've been really ill on and off recently and the few times i haven't been in a medicated haze or sleeping, i've been trying to sort of a tonn of familial sh*t that has hit the fan.

I wanted to drop a line after i got a tweet about a manip i'd promised a while ago. There's only two i have noted?

One is a Bamon manip and the other is RP related, as far as i can remember, anyhow.

Do i owe any of you guys arts that i promised? If so, just let me know and i'll get on it for you. And i apologize if I DID promise and not deliver.

I have a memory like a sieve :S

Also, i've been rereading some of my favorite vampire romance series, like 'The Black Dagger brotherhood, 'Love at Stake', 'The Darkyn' etc. Do you guys have any suggestions for me? Other than rereads, i have like 3 books i have yet to read, before i'm at a standstill as to what to move onto to. .*totallystumped*

Damon, Brooke, Blair and Stefan are all immortal, and have known eachother through the bad times and. .Well mostly just the bad. Brooke broke away from the group, along with Blair, followed by Stefan, and now years later, Damon’s back and he wants things returned to what he always thought was normal.

If you don’t instantly ADORE this vid, then i think you must be crazy. AMAZING editing and good pitch between the voice overs and the music. I love the pairing of Damon/Brooke. SIMPLY AMAZING.
I am working on the next batch of icons and arts that i promised, but i had some trouble with my new mac, meaning a slight delay in posting. Don't worry! They'll be here soon!

Not my best, but i'm only just getting back into the swing of things after a long time away.

Hey guys. So things are on/off with me, lately. I just haven't been keeping up with lj as much as I did. If I missed any especially important posts, then I'm REALLY SORRY.

I did send some cards out, but only 7

sweet_lil_rach, dhfreak, charlie_jae & nelliewu. I hope you guys all got them in good time for Chrismas! As for everyone else I sent, you should definately have them by now?

I'm not totally sure how your postal services differentiate from the UK's. But I HAVE sent them.

Also, just a note to all my vid making friends who are thinking about Vegas 9 on windows 7.

AVI is no longer possible. I've tried everything. Every codec, hack. .I am not one for wasting time converting, as my source clips are always so varied. It just takes up memory I don't have, you know?

Options: 1) Don't change what's still working for you.
2) If you really want windows 7. Then opt for the movie version of Vegas 9. It really isn't much different.

My only complaint is the layering options like 'screen' or 'burn' and stuff. Movie kicks ...
