Joyce Summers has a secret. She was not born on Earth. She and her daughter escaped the Jedi purge and hid on a backward planet on the borders of the unknown regions hoping that neither the Sith nor the Imperial Inquisitors will find them there.
- This story (or series of stories) should take ten to fifteen years after Episode III.
- Both Joyce and Buffy are force sensitive. While Joyce is a fully trained Jedi, Buffy has not been trained yet. But Joyce should start to train Buffy after Buffy has been forced into the role of the Slayer.
- Buffy is NOT the real Slayer, but the Watche...

Either Buffy does not exist in this reality or did never move to Sunnydale. So instead of Buffy another young woman moves with her single parent/guardian to Sunnydale and is soon tasked to defend the innocent from the evils lurking in this Californian town.

- The character replacing Buffy must be an already existing comic book character. Examples are Wondergirl Cassandra Sandsmark and her mother Helena Sandsmark or Supergirl using the alias Linda Lang and her 'aunt' Lana Lang.
- The support characters from BtVS (Xander, Willow, Giles etc.) must appear in the story.
- This also...

What if Buffy* learns that she was adopted and that her real parents are super-heroes? There are two different versions of this idea:
1. Buffy* had been created in a lab and later been given up for adoption. Thus her genetic parents do not know of her existence until Buffy learns about her adoption and looks for her real parents.
2. Buffy* had been abducted as a baby and somehow got (illegally?) adopted by the Summers. Her real parents believe that she is dead.
*You may replace Buffy with Willow, Cordy or Faith but NOT with Xander (because these stories had been done to death.)...

YAHF: In nearly every universe the Scoobies (and friends) wore different costumes on Halloween. In some of those something powerful remained inside them. Now the Scoobies are on a trip through the Multiverse to meet some of their counterparts from those universes. Why? That's up to you.
- Every character may only used once as a costume. So two Buffys or Buffy from one world and Willow from another dressing up as Supergirl is not allowed.
- Crossover with existing YAHF are allowed (even if Buffy is not the main character in those).
- Crossovers outside the Halloween part...

Uberfic-Challenge: BvTS/Honor Harrington!
What if Buffy is an officer of the Royal Manticoran Navy and the commanding officer of a hyper-capable warship?
- Her rank can be anything from commander to admiral of the green, but her command should be approtiate for her rank
- Her career must NOT be more colourful than the career of Honor Harrington herself!
- Willow and Xander must be part of the story.
- Tara should be in the story and be Willow's wife.
- Do not create an OC (or use a Buffverse character) for a position if an Honorverse character is already in this positio...

What if BtVS takes place in a D&D-like fantasy world?
- Sunnydale is a county in the Kingdom of California
- Sunnydale is ruled by Earl Richard III (= the Mayor)
- all things we know about Sunnydale (Hell Mouth, Sunnydale Effect, vampire plague etc.) from the series also apply but have to be modified to fit into the pseudo-medieval world of D&D
- the class and race of the characters is up to you, but Buffy and her family have to be human
- male slash is NOT wanted, femslash however IS

Imagine that instead of the Halliwells the Summers are the Charmed Ones. Imagine that Joyce, Buffy and Dawn are sisters and powerful witches.
- Joyce, Buffy and Dawn have to be sisters AND witches, which Joyce being the oldest and Dawn being the youngest
- The Age difference must not be too great. Joyce must not be old enough to be Dawn's mother!
- The story has to take place in Sunnydale
- All Buffy and Charmed may also appear in the story, but they might be very different (e.g. Giles being a whitelighter or Leo being a watcher)
- Willow must not be a powerful witch
- ...

What if Joyce and Buffy went to Nantucket for an early vacation in 1998? So they are on the island at the time it was sent back in time to the year 1250 BC.
- Joyce and Buffy have to be in the story
- If you find a way to include Willow, Xander, Cordy and Giles, then do it
- Dawn does not have to be in the story
- There are no vampires on Nantucket or aboard the USCGS Eagle, but there are vampires in 1250 BC
- Follow the timeline of the novels, but write your own story
- You are allowed to include other crossovers, but be careful. Do not make changes that would change t...

The First has won and evil walks through the world. Only a small group can end the First reign by using the Key (a blood sacrifice) at a certain place.
- The members of the group should come from different (but contemporary Earth-based) fandoms
- Dawn must be in the story, because she is the Key and only her death at a certain place (which is up to you) will undo the First's victory.
- Every member of the group should have lost their loved ones to evil (they were either killed or have been turned into monsters)
- The new world should be slightly different than the old one, but ...

Imagine that Buffy, Willow, Xander and Cordy are playing D&D (or any other roleplaying game). And imagine that they decide to go as their RPG characters on that cursed Halloween. And imagine that they keep their characters powers and skills after Ethan's spell ends/is interrupted.
- Must either be a fantasy or a science fiction RPG
- Must NOT be a horror or modern world RPG or based on franchises like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings etc.
- Must not be centered on Xander
- Super-Xander or Xander-Sue is really not wanted!
- Optional: Buffy ceases to be a slayer af...

Imagine that Joyce and her daughters move to Colorado Springs either after the divorce or after Buffy's near death experience in 'Prophecy Girl'. There she meets an Airforce officer and falls in love. That Airfoce officer is either Jack or Sam.
- If you pair Joyce with Jack, Sam has to be involved with Janet. "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" has been repealed.
- Dawn must be in the story (and is NOT the Key).
- Joyce's relationship with one member of the SGC/SG-1 makes her a target
- Optional: Buffy falls in love with Cassie
- Optional: The Watchers' Council tries to abduct Buffy or...

Joyce Summer had been married to Kent Nelson before she married Hank Summers, but she could not deal with him being Doctor Fate. Now Kent Nelson is dead and Joyce inherits the Helm of Nabu. Will she accept becoming the new Doctor Fate?
And how will the Scoobies react to Buffy's mother becoming host to a Lord of Order?
- Joyce must survive!
- No Über-Xander or Xander-Sue allowed
- No m/m slash
- No Spuffy or Bangel romance
- Femslash is allowed

And the rest is up to you!

What if one of the female members of the Scoobies is stranded in Middle-Earth during the Third Age? What if she meets Arwen and they fall in love with each other?
This should not be a tenth walker story. It should take place at least a century before the events of the trilogy.
It has to be femslash, because the pairing is Arwen/female Scooby. Male slash is NOT allowed, because there are no canon homosexual pairings in Middle-Earth.

A variation of that theme would be following:
After Buffy second death (in "The Gift") she finds herself in Middle-Earth several centuries befo...

What if Buffy decided to go as Vampirella on that fatefull Halloween? And what if she retains all of Vampirella's powers and weaknesses after the spell ended?
The costumes of the other Scoobies are up to you, but Xander-Sue or Über-Xander is not allowed (even if you turn Xander into a (gay) girl, which BTW is allowed).
Male slash (m/m) is also not allowed, because I will not read it.
Femslash, however, is allowed, because we all know that Willow is gay (but at the time of that episode she was still in the closet).
The rest is up to you.

This is an idea for a crossover with Edgar Rice Burrough's "John Carter of Mars" series.
Imagine that Buffy finds herself on Mars after her death in "The Gift". But it is not the dead planet we know. It is called Barsoom by its inhabitants.
- The story does not have to follow Edgar Rice Burrough's novels.
- You may include John Carter (but you do not have to). Buffy may also replace John Carter.
- Femslash is allowed (and is a must if you follow the novels and replace John Carter with Buffy).
- Male slash is not allowed (just because I would not read those).
- Other Buf...
