The idea is that Buffy and the slayers are decendants of the Ancients or perhaps the Furlings.

I know that there are a lot of SG/Buffy Xovers that deal with one of the gang having family in the SG program. I would like this fic to be centered on Giles. He should be related to one of the SG people. McKay,Beckett, or Woolsey come to mind. Maybe even Janet Fraiser. It might be interesting for Giles to inherit the guardianship for Cassie. Diana becomes Diana Prince once more and connects with Steve Trevor Jr. to learn more about the slayers. Steve has an old friend who was a part of the DRI and is concerned. Giles is immortal. He is actually over 200 years old born in 1745 and dies/becomes immortal on 19th of April 1775. Giles was an officer in the British Army and died at the battle of Lexington and Concord. He woke after the battle tried to return only to be shot again by his frightended compatriots. The second time he awoke he was treated by Methos who was acting as a field surgen for the British Army and he was filled in on the whole immortality situation. I loved the Tara character in BTVS. We all know Tara descended from a family of witches. I would like her to be a decedent of Malinda Warren the founder of the charmed line. Tara will die as in the original Buffy series but she can come back as a white lighter or as a result of a the time turner event. There are a lot of challenges out there where Buffy is the child of L.J.Gibbs. While that is interesting I thought I would go with a different idea. I want Buffy to be the grandchild of Donald Mallard. I was thinking perhaps Ducky could be Hank's father. To make this challenge even more interesting I want this to be a Buffy/Giles pairing. It can be a case of one of the characters being the mother of another either biologically or mystacally. The idea is that they come to see that they are not alone in their fight and that they can win with the help of their friends and family.
