Rules for Challenges

Author Selonianth

In the Hunger Games there are twelve districts being 'Punished' with the annual Hunger Games. Two of the districts worked out a way to game the system. The first and second districts formed Academies within which kids are taught all the skills you might need inside the Arena. This challenge is based on the idea of the other districts getting the same idea and creating Academies of their own. As long as the kids do as planned, the system doesn't fall apart.

The challenge is simple, pick a crossover of your choosing, take a main character (or two if you want them to occupy more than one...

Your challenge, which I pray you accept, is simple.

Buffy doesn't die when she jumps from Glory's tower. Instead she is transported to the SGC only there's a problem, Her mind is turned into swiss cheese not dissimilar to Dr. Sam Beckett's. Difference is she's not gonna jump again and again. How would a semi feral slayer fare in the SGC?

When Buffy died the first time she lost her Slayer powers. Not all of them, she's still physically capable of benching a medium sized car, and she kept her weapons skills, but she wasn't able to sense demons anymore, nor did she receive prophetic dreams. The council finds out and Kendra is immidiately sent to replace her on the Hellmouth. What happens from there is up to you.

Note: Dawn would not get sent to Buffy in this world as she's no longer the Slayer and I doubt the Monks of Dagon would send it to her specifically and not just a general "To the slayer" spell.

So, I've seen several stories where Buffy becomes a Shinigami after she dies, most often after she jumps from Glory's Tower. Now the stories I've paid attention too are decently well written and in some cases beautifully well thought out. One even included her ressurection and then had her rejoin the Bleach timeline in Karakura town just as Rukia was kidnapped.

None of them seem to actually possess enough steam to finish the story though. I'm not asking for a story that reaches the entire length of bleach, that quite frankly is impossible, but I would really like to see one that just ...

What if Buffy really was traumatized when she was put into that Insane Asylum when she was fifteen? Only... it wasn't in Buffyverse. She's not a misunderstood slayer. Something happened and her mind chose to construct that little scenario. What happens after the doctors help her get better, that is your challenge. Make Buffy a willing warrior to defend humanity, and the preternatural, from threats.

1. Buffy must be born in Anita-verse.
2. Buffy is in an asylum in the Anita-verse after a traumatizing event.
3. Buffy is some form of lycan, make your pick.
