AU Buffy fic - in the style of "Katekyo hitman Reborn!" manga.

Buffy first came to Sunnydale somewhat depressed. Still, she was determined to become a normal girl again. Well, her luck was not that good.

First, a strange probably demon baby wielding magic and being stronger than her (or at least better at applying its strength while fighting) appeared in her house, telling her it was her new Watcher - Concil's top level Hitman Giles. Second, her mother immidiately fell in love with it and refused to get rid of it, despite its obvious evilness.

After Xander (or any other other Scooby) dies, he is suddenly in a strange room, which assigns him score, then proposes to upgrade the standard BtVS package with an extention (cue in your crossover(s) fandom).

Then he (she) suddenly has a choice of characters to play which is much larger than he had suspected (This game is the kind of RPG where character creation consists of either choosing out of a lot of premade characters or trying to create your own, less defined one).

Gameplay is similar to Arcanum - you can develop either science or magic, but there are Feats of Sheer ...

Xander "dressed" as actor Jackie Chan buying a stupid mask. What he did not expect, was that he became an archeologist Jackie Chan instead. Also, he did not expect powers and creatures from the show to make their way into reality due to Ethan's unfortunate choice of toys and props. Or for them to stay there, tryng to bring on their own mark of the Apocalipse. Still, at least he kept his possessors skills. Probably due to kicking statue of Janus to the ground himself.
Though the most disturbing moment was appearance of "Uncle" - demoted due to his part in Ethan's scheme Janus - and a cute ...

Louise's Summoning Rite did succeed, but for some reason her familiar was too firmly entrenched in the world he/ she was in (it could be due to whatever catches your fancy - ritual, some kind of godly or ungodly creature, interference of the Powers That Be). Unfortunately, the Rite was supposed to be completed. Therefore, Louise's magic acts up, and before the astonished eyes of her class, Louise the Zero dissappears never to be seen or heard from again.
It can actually cross to any world.

- Louise has to depend on her familiar quite a bit, even if she might throw temper tantrum ...

There was one challenge in which Xander's "body snatcher" in the YAHF episode died, and Xander had to continue living in his/her body instead of his own. But what if he did not get dressed as a hero, but as a villain?
It could be a great story - or a boring one...
Well, a ruthless geek with a modicum of Luther's memories and man's brainpower sounds scarily intriguing...

There's a wonderful author named Roger Zelazny. I'd like to see Buffy X-over with his works. Any of his works. Though my favourite ones are God of Light, Chronicles of Amber and This Immortal (...and call me Conrad). Does not matter when in the series, really.

Xander lived in Sunnydale till he was six; right after his "Barbie breakup" with Willow someone took him away, to raise as their own. Now, he feels restless, and decides to return to his roots to get a closure. Though with Buffy arriving at the same time, he gets much more than he bargained for...

- he occasionally helps Scoobies (where 'his' role (in the initial show) was taken over by some other person - it would be amusing to shuffle a bit, making other member, for example Larry, Harmony, Cordelia, older Wells brother, one of the future Slayers, minor demon,...)

Xander, Willow and Jesse were different from the beginning... Or, it was only Xander at first, being not all that native to the dimention, but due to a magical accident one of their neigbours his two friends got the similar genetic makeup... They are fifteen, and their Sparks are beginning to wake up... Each in a different manner...Then, allof a sudden, Sunnydale becomes much stranger even before Buffy appears
