Sometime post-Season 4 of Buffy, Harry Maybourne approaches Jack O'Neill with the news that there are hok'taur on Earth. Since he was a part of the Initiative (an NID project with rogue elements) he can't approach the hok'taur personally (Riley might recognise him, then he'd lose any chance of getting what he wanted) but someone like Jack, and especially SG1 might have a chance at convincing the hok'taur to join up.

Proceed to end Season 3 where Xander has been accepted to MIT for their Computer Science program. He completes the degree early, then has to do 3 years work before joining the FBI, where he meets up with Penny Garcia. Go from there.

This started out at a story that I wanted to write, but I don't think I'm going to get to it any time soon, so I thought I would make it my first challenge (and see if anyone else tries it out before I can get to it.)

So the basic concept is this: Faith, the Vampire Slayer, along with her Watcher, Xander, are tracking a demon cross-country. Without stopping to check, they enter Cascade, WA. The Sentinel, Jim Ellison, is alerted to Faith's presence via a dream (insert totem or representative animals here.)
