The basic idea for this challenge is that Xander and Angel are sent to the DC Universe, where they must deal with various super-villains and superheroes in their quest to return home and kind of amazing anyone that they meet simply because they've managed not to kill each other yet.

After all, the pair hate each other for a number of reasons (some justified, some more petty, but on both sides), but, to pretty much everyones' surprise, when lives are in danger they can put their hatred aside (to a degree, it's impossible to get them to stop insulting each other entirely) and work toget...

YAHF. Xander dresses as a barbarian hero for Halloween, trying to be Conan, but instead for the night he becomes 'Dave, the Barbarian'.

Afterwards, he retains Dave's herculean strength, as well as bringing his enchanted sword, Lula, into reality... but also becomes a complete and total wuss who's first instinct to danger is to run away and hide rather than fight.

Who exactly his Master is up to the author, it could be one of the Scoobies, i.e. Buffy, Willow, Cordelia, Oz, Giles, Faith, or it could be any other character from the series, so long as they use Xander to target the vampire population.

Whether or not Xander is aware of what happens as the Kanima is also up to the author, as are any abilities that Xander may retain when he is in control of himself....

The premise of the challenge is simple; Xander is a mutant. However, unlike in every other X-men crossover out there, Xander's mutation either has absolutely no practical applications (i.e. is completely useless) or is more of a hindrance than an advantage. Prime examples of such mutations would be 'Beak', who got all of the negative aspects of the avian physiology without the benefit of flight, or 'Wraith', whose only power was that he had transparent skin.

Alright, we've all seen a story where Xander gets sent into either the Marvel or the DC universe, and then uses his near encyclopaedic knowledge of that world to settle any initial problems, stun the natives, and gain some level of trust from whoever found him.

Alright, so I've noticed that a lot of people here like to cross Buffy with universes where there exist beings such as Superman or the Hulk, both of whom make the Slayer look like an insect in comparison in terms of strength, yet people (myself included) still grant their powers to certain characters (usually to Xander) and basically overshadow anything that Buffy has ever done in her time as 'Chosen One'.

Take Xander and turn him into an archer, how you do this is completely up to you, it could be a YAHF where he dresses as Robin Hood/Green Arrow/Hawkeye/etc and retains the archery skills, (though if you choose this route Xander MUST work and train in order to do so).
