Faith Connors: Runner, Fugitive, Vampire Slayer?

The Devil sends Sam & Co. down to LA to collect two escaped souls, Angelus and William The Bloody, little realizing that they have hooked up with his old friend Illyria of Vahla ha'nesh.

I kind of like the idea of the Devil being Illyria's doting father, but I'll leave the exact nature of their relationship up to you.

Been contemplating this for a while, and may end up using it (or something like it) myself at some point, but here goes:

The Powers That Be are the Ancients, while Senior Partners and The First are the Ori (Caleb can be a twisted sort of Prior if you want), with demons and the Slayers weapons left behind after their war. Buffy and co find out that they're just pawns in a much bigger came, and react accordingly. Just what they do I will leave up to the author.

With the date of the impending alien invasion (December 22nd, 2012) growing ever closer Mulder and Scully need help preparing to defend our world. Who better to turn to then an army of highly trained and supernaturally strong warriors?

The only thing I ask is no non-canon M-slash.

OK, this challenge is to write a story or series of stories set in the immediate aftermath of the destruction of Sunnydale, with the survives deciding they need a drink. This is where the fun starts, as you get to pick what bars, clubs, bars, speak easy, gin-joints and road-houses they visit along the way, and who they bump into.

Consumption of vast amounts of alcohol is a must, and not everyone has to be left standing (or even crawling/staggering) at the end.

This challenge is brought to you in conjunction with the Twisting the Hellmouth campaign for Real Ale.

Very vague challenge to give you all room to play:

Sunnydale is a very strange town, where nothing is ever normal. This would probably include the used car lot.

The basic premise of the challenge is someone from Sunnydale goes and buys a second hand car, but accidentally picks one from another universe. Think James Bonds Austin Martin, K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider, Herbie, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, the crazier the better! No crossover is out of reach!

Two (or more) Scooby’s (I’ll let you pick just who) are in Homestead looking for newly activated Slayers when the Hurricane hits.

Ideas:
One (or more) sees the lights falling into the water during the storm.
Maybe have one taken and turned into a Hybrid?
Slayers can sense Hybrids?
Dave, surprisingly, refusing to believe in the supernatural.

That’s right folks; it’s another “characters real dad” challenge, but I’m letting you pick the character in question.

Most obvious choices would by Faith or Xander, but I encourage you to think out of the box and come up with something different.

Ok, this is another idea I have no time to work on (I never seem to have enough time these days).

We all knows Giles’ past is more than a little shady in more than one way, but, what if he new the gang from Hustle?

The basic idea I have is either Giles needs their help to acquire something of mystical importance, preferably without them realizing what it is, or they need Giles’ help with a con, and end up getting drawn into his world.

I think it would be nice to see someone try this, as season three is starting on BBC 1 soon...

Ok, couple of crazy ideas I have no time to work on:

1) Xander is sent under cover to find a newly activated Slayer at Sacred Heart, only to find that it’s Dr. Elliot Reid!
2) For fans of Faith’s Dad fics, our favorite brunet Slayer is the long lost daughter of Dr Cox and Jordan Sullivan, or, if you’re feeling really twisted, The Janitor!

Crazy little idea I had for a story, but I’m in just too busy to run with it:

What if Giles was a Time Lord, maybe even The Doctor himself?

Like I said, crazy, but maybe one of you guys could do something with it.

While the EuroTrip gang are looking for Mieke in Rome, a case of mistaken identity gets Dawn and Jenny mixed up and they experience each other’s world. Given how different the characters are, it should prove to be interesting…

Xander’s uncle Elwood shows up, hoping that his nephew will join his band.

Suggestions:
1) Giles and/or Joyce are Blues Brothers fans, and recognise Elwood from the legendary Palace Hotel gig.
2) Xander has a hidden musical talent.
3) The obligatory car chance/pileup.
4) They’re on a mission from the Powers That Be.

Lost and confused, they end up being rescued by/rescuing The Chosen Men of the 95th Rifles Regiment and the unit’s commander, Major Richard Sharpe, who is still greetings after the death of his wife Teresa.

Discoing a nest of demons directly in the advance of the British/Portuguese armies, Buffy and Faith are informed by Whistler that they’ve been brought back in time to deal with the threat before history is changed forever.
