It's Christmas Eve, so I'm likely a bit late, but as the song reminds us, there's really *twelve* days of Christmas, not just one.

So write about them.

I'll give you a starting point to use if you want:

It can be any crossover (it must be a crossover, though), and preferably would be a different cross for each day, and in addition to the song itself, try and work some nice Christmas cheer into the ficlets as well.

I'm listening to some old music from a very bad time in my life a few years ago, and now that it's not all twisted up in my head anymore, they're giving me all kinds of odd crossover ideas, so here's the challenge:

Here's the setup:

The Scoobies, in their leadership position of the new Council, have decided that it's time for the supernatural to go public. I've seen this before in fics, and there's press conferences, news stories, talk show visits, everyone's shocked and appalled and weirdly excited to hear about the freaks of the night and the babes with blades - but what the Council really needs is a face the world can trust.

What happens when Spike and Angel wake up in plastic boxes? How long can Mr. Potato Head stand between Faith and Mrs. Potato Head before someone gets hurt? Will the Bucket of Soldiers take orders from Riley?

Bonus points for Riley's action figure pouting about Woody getting to be Cowboy Guy. Especially if he has no idea why.

I've officially decided I don't have a deep enough understanding of the character and history around the Birds of Prey titles to do this any justice, and sadly not enough time/money to get the issues either, so I'm putting it out as a challenge instead.

Buffy/Birds of Prey

Barbara is called as a result of "Chosen"; she begins having strange dreams, strangers are showing up in Gotham city looking for her, and suddenly she finds her spinal injury is inexplicably healed, forcing her to choose between her status as the Oracle and her old life in the mantel of the Bat.

Obviously lots of people love the YAHF format (else there wouldn't be so many of the things), but it does get old seeing the same events rewritten over and over with just a few character changes.

So the point is - let's bring everybody's favorite chaos magic out of the little box that it's trapped in:

Btvs/Coyote Ugly - After the destruction of Sunnydale, Faith sets up in NYC as head of a group of mini-slayers, but the Council Funds Giles has managed to appropriate aren't nearly enough, so she finds herself a second nightjob.

BtVS/"Small Soldiers" simply because the idea amuses me. Here are some possible ideas:

1 The Gorgonites believe they have found their home, but it's already occupied by the Scoobies and/or the Council

2 Archer decides he wants a daughter, so he builds one out of Dawn's dolls
