In canon, Joyce owns an art gallery. In fandom, Joyce (almost) always owns an art gallery. It seems like a curious blind spot, and one ripe for some creative rethinking. Your challenge is as follows: come up with an alternative career for Joyce, and write a story of any length that explores how Joyce's alternate career changes (or doesn't change) events for Joyce specifically and her family in general. If the art gallery is still in the picture somehow, is it a front for something else? If Joyce never owned an art gallery, what kind of work does she do instead?
