Dr. Who/Torchwood • 517 stories • Updated 19 May

“Hi Everybody, I’m Doctor—” Well, you’ve got to admit, he would make an interesting number twelve. While we wait for that to happen, see how Doctors one to eleven cope with a world of slayers and vampires as the TARDIS lands in Sunnydale, how Buffy and the gang fare when faced with Daleks and Cybermen in another time and place, or how whether Torchwood and the Watchers Council are able to cooperate to defeat threats both extra and sub-terrestrial

There's a prophecy about Buffy facing the Master and being killed by him at the end of season one. Giles thinks it is referring to the vampire trapped under Sunnydale. It isn't. The Master referred to in Buffy's prophecy is the Time Lord, not the vampire.

When the Doctor fused the controls to the TARDIS, he misjudged the margin of error. It was 18 years, instead of 18 months. The Master lands in Cardiff in 1996, 12 years before the Doctor left Cardiff. He finds his way to Sunnydale for some reason.

What happens next is up to the reader, but here are some things I'd like to s...

A little unconventional Crossover, really.

The image is 6 slides of Doctor Who images.
Each having the words:
Take my love
Take my land
Take me where I cannot stand
I don't care
I'm still free
You can't take the sky from me.

Your task, should you choose to accept it, is to cover the two fandoms in question, Firefly and Doctor Who, any incarnation applies, but the image is primarily centred around the 10th.
Feel free to add others as needed, or desired. BtVS is definitely a bonus.

It would be fu...

There aren't a whole lot of Doctor Who crossovers with Xander as the center. So. Here is a unique challenge. For some reason or other, Xander either is a mark 104 or 103 TARDIS (One capable of assuming human form). You can have him be adopted as a child with the pertinent parts of him being a TARDIS wiped or at least blocked from his mind, slowly reimmerging over time, or he could become one through Yet another Halloween fic.

Bonus Points
Dawn is a Tardis as well.
Buffy and Willow are either chameleon arc hidden time-lords/tots or turned into time lords as a result of the H...

what would happen if illyria found out that the time lords had stollen her designs for the tardis and it's power source .
Illyria stood alone in the alley way after the great battle and sences the artificial power source she created to mimic her own as rose opens the heart of the tardis in parting of ways , before she can do anything it's gone again .

set after not fade away and just before parting of ways .

would be cool to see captain jack try it on with illyria if it can be worked in .

The Doctor has at least two canonical family members that have been named: Susan, his granddaughter, and Jenny, his daughter from the planet Messaline. Both are special women and both have the potential to do amazing things. Add one more thing to that list, becoming the grandmother to Buffy Summers.

Either Susan or Jenny find their way to Earth sometime in the 1940s or 1950s, and meet a man. She gets married, finds a job, gets a house, and sooner or later, she has a baby (Joyce or Hank, writer's choice). Twenty-odd years roll around and Joyce and Hank meet each other, get married and ...

Here's an idea I love, but I can't seem to get it off the ground.

During Buffy's Sixth Season Tara left Willow because of the red head's magic addiction. Sure, we know this, but what we don't know is just what she got up to during the couple of months before she came back. What if she met a strange man with a magic blue box and found herself on a journey across time and space?

Basically the challenge is what if Tara spent a couple of adventures as a companion to the Doctor shortly before her untimely death? The idea is that throughout her adventures she learns to forgive Will...

Ethan ran out of guns that Halloween. So Xander was stuck with some weird screwdriver thing and a borrowed suit. He didn't remember much of that night. He didn't remember why everyone was more than a little scared of him. And he had absolutely no idea why he had two hearts and a constant drum beat in his head.

And, most puzzlingly of all, why did he respond like someone was saying his name every time someone used the word 'Master'?

What would have happened if Dawn never ended up in Sunnydale? Can Captain Jack figure out where Dawn really belongs before it's too late? Having the Doctor make an appearance is fine and may actually help save the day! Here are the required elements...

1. Dawn ends up at Torchwood instead of Sunnydale.

2. Buffy and the Scoobies still remembers having Dawn and is in a panic trying to find her.

3. One shots are fine, but bonus cookies for multiple chapters!

4. This is the most important....Have FUN!!!

Spike's amulet finds it's way to Torchwood Three just after Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (or during, for comedic value). Chaos ensues.

The NWC does not trust Torchwood. Torchwood doesn't really trust anyone, but want to get rid of the snarky vampire.

Pairings as canon, with Spike pining after Buffy.

I would love to see a Willow-Centered Crossover of BTVS/Torchwood.
I don't see many of these and rarely any with Willow as a Main Character and those I have seen, have disappeared since I last read them on all the Fanfic sites I go to.

Must Include:
1. Willow MUST be the Main Character and MUST be either a relative or a romantic interest of one of the people on the team.
2. Xander must come with her,for some reason. Be creative about it.
3. Willow should be 16+ or older during the fic.

Can Include:
1. Willow can be her normal powerful witchy self or an a**...

I've been watching waaay to much BBC lately, but the sad fact of the matter is that there aren't that many Doctor Who/Btvs crossovers. And even the few there are, its mostly the Doctor taking one of the girls along with him. For a guy that seems to 'never' have sex, he does like having the ladies around.

My request is simple, Xander meets the Doctor and is invited along in his flying blue....telephonebooth.

There are plenty of ways for this to go down. The most stright forward way is how the Doctor usualy operrates. He shows up out of the blue, being odd and defeating the b...

In "the doctor's daughter" we left Genny as she was starting her adventure.
This story picks up a few years later, when Xander is on his road trip and meets a strange girl who travels in a red phonebooth called the Tardis.
Basically Genny somehow found a surviving Tardis and takes on her fathers' mantle. Xander becomes her companion and they travle around the universe.

What if, when Buffy was resurrected, she became like Jack, unable to stay dead? And Dawn is made immortal just because of the magic of the Key. I want a Torchwood crossover with immortal Buffy and Dawn somehow interacting with the Cardiff team.
One suggestion I have (don't have to use it), is for Buffy to already be ready to sacrifice herself to Abbadon when Jack arrives and he can't stop her.

Must haves:
-Buffy and Dawn must be able (or had been able) to travel in time, either by being Time Ladies or Time Agents.
-They must be aware of the Doctor, at least.
-Jack/Iant...

Demons run when a good man goes to war
Night will fall and drown the sun
When a good man goes to war

Friendship dies and true love lies
Night will fall and the dark will rise
When a good man goes to war

Demons run, but count the cost
The battle’s won, but the child is lost

From the season 6 episode 7 of Docter Who.
Ever wonder how this poem came to be? Imagine if Xander was the inspiration of the song. Write a fanfic about how Xander became the inspiration for the song. If so try to figure out how to tie the fiction of the story to the episo...

TAG: Romana didn't need or want anyone, but Xander needed someone to protect.

Minor Spoilers for up to the current season at the end of the post.

Backstory Recap:

Romana II as played by Lala Ward is intelligent, self-sufficiencant and well educated.
She has a sense of play that has gotten her interested in engaging in the affairs of mortals but doesn't necessarily favor humans or the 20th century as the Doctor had.

We see her leave for another dimension with a K-9 when she leaves the Tom Baker Doctor, and don't hear about her again until briefly, possibl...
