| Description | A crossover with the computer game, "Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri" Earth, 2060; a small group of colonists leave the ravages of Earth on the United Nations Starship Unity for a distant planet orbiting Alpha Centauri's primary star. Which (former) member(s) of the Scoobies/Fang Gang live long enough to join Unity; survive its malfunction and breakup in orbit over the planet Chiron? Which faction do they join up with in the escape pods? Possible pairings that might fit the characters: Xander=Colonel Corazon Santiago commanding the Spartan Federation. Willow and/or Tara=Gaia's Stepdaughters led by Lady Deirdre Skye. Anya=Nwabudike Morgan of Morgan Industries. Buffy and/or Dawn=Commissioner Pravin Lal of the Peacekeepers. Fred=University of Planet led by Academician Prokhor Zakharov As for the Lord's Believers (Sister Miriam Godwinson) and the Human Hive (Chairman Sheng-Ji Yang), I can't think of who would join either of them, but I'm open to surprises. Those familiar with the expansion pack "Alien Crossfire" may have another seven factions to play with. (Which unfortunately, I don't have, -pouts-) I'm not a big fan of Slash so please keep it down to the obvious ones like Willow, Tara, Anya, Faith, and maybe Angel(no, bad idea; if the soul goes, so does the human race. Wonder if the mindworms have a taste for vampires? =evil chuckle=) How do any of them last long enough to leave Earth on Unity? Immortal(Highlander), Magic, Slayers and the Key stop aging at their peak, or just plain demon blood? Were they friends with the faction leader(s) or was it a last minute leap into a random escape pod? What happens on the surface of Planet? If the game was made a couple of years earlier, this could be YAHF; But that would be too easy or too hard; depending on how much background info of the faction leaders is available. The in-game quotes made SMAC my favorite game of all time. The title is from the last line in the intro movie of the game. |
