|Challenge Name||A Cord of Three Strands is Not Quickly Broken (BtVS/AtS/SG-1)|
|Challenge Type||Personal Challenge|
|Category||Stargate > Buffy-Centered|
|Description||This is a Buffy/Angel/Stargate SG-1 challenge, primarily involving the characters of Buffy Summers, Wesley Wyndham-Pryce, and Daniel Jackson.|
While looking at various Stargate, Buffy & Angel resource sites, I noticed some very interesting dates (according to US airing):
3.12.2002 - BtVS "Normal Again" (6.17), the episode where Buffy is poisoned and nearly kills all her friends while in the grip of a delusion she's been a mental patient, not a Slayer, for the last several years. (The next episode, "Entropy", did not air until 4.30.2002).
4.15.2002 - AtS "Forgiving" (3.17), the episode where Angel nearly smothers a throat-cut Wesley in the hospital and promises never to forgive the ex-Watcher for the loss of his son Connor, no matter how well-intentioned.
4.26.2002 - Stargate SG-1 "Menace" (5.19), the episode with Reese, replications, and Daniel-angst that came just two weeks before his death/Ascension.
What if all three of these nearly-shattered souls (Buffy, Wesley and Daniel) left their respective towns/jobs (for a vacation or more permanent plans is up to you) after the abovementioned events, and met up somewhere along the way? As much damage as all three were carrying at the time, they are still very strong people, and if they could get past each others' defenses would be of great help to one another in healing and finding purpose again.
Whatever 'ship you develop-- none at all, two of the three together, or a 3some-- doesn't matter, as long as they remain as a group, none of them leaving the others behind. The three of them should get involved, at some point, with one or more of the three plotlines that would have unfolded in the shows' timelines, but how you resolve it is completely up to you, as long they stay together.
