Description	Buffy/Harry Potter/Stargate crossover. Set post-Deathly Hallows, post-Chosen and post-Season 6 of Stargate (Daniel's both ascended and descended!). So, this can begin anywhere from about May 2003 onwards (Chosen ends!). Deathly Hallows spoilers below! Anyway... Millennia ago, the Goa'uld were driven off Earth by an insurrection in Egypt. The Chappa'ai was buried and the world freed. Among the insurrection's leaders were Femi, a Huntress or Slayer, Imhotep, a man of incredible magical power, and Ahmose, a scholarly leader and future Pharoah. Now there is another threat against Earth, and the only way to save the present is to look to the past... and find the leaders they have lost. Without them... the world is doomed. Now, your job is to find a believable - and preferably original way - to get the reincarnations of Femi, Imhotep and Ahmose together, reawaken their past memories and find a way to defend the Earth from this new threat. Buffy is the reincarnation of Femi, a past Slayer. How was Femi identified as a Slayer? Why was she included as a leader? Were people suspicious of her abilities, or did they consider her blessed by the 'true' gods - not the false ones? (Bear in mind that Sekhmet, the Egyptian god of war, is never mentioned in SG1. Was she regarded as a true god, and became linked into the tales of the false ones?) Harry Potter is the reincarnation of Imhotep, a wizard. Since Merlin is regarded as the Founder of 'modern magic', how did Imhotep use his magic? Were others suspicious of his abilities? Was he too regarded as blessed by the 'true' gods? I'd like Harry to be born in the canonical time period (31st July 1980), so he is of an age with Buffy. And no, this has nothing to do with 'The Mummy', and not the historical Imhotep who became worshipped as a god either. (Although if you can get in a reasonable explanation of such things, I'll be impressed. The name means 'the one that comes in peace' - perhaps a harbinger of peace to come with the end of the Goa'uld reign.) Dr Daniel Jackson is the reincarnation of Ahmose. Ahmose was a leader and a scholar, who eventually became one of the first Pharoahs/leaders of Egypt. (My Egyptian and Stargate history aren't too hot, so feel free to play with this point!) How did he rise to become one of the leaders of the rebellion? How did he come to be suspicious of the 'gods'? Apart from this, the rest is up to you! What is this mysterious threat? How do they regain their memories? Do their past selves influence their present selves? For ideas, please visit my fanart, Past Memories, below, in answer to my own challenge. Rules: No slash (except canon) No character-bashing No outrageous pairings No Buffy/vampire - I want her with a living, breathing human being No Buffy/Jack - too old! Try to keep canon pairings (i.e. Harry/Ginny) Spoilers for all seasons/books allowed Epilogue of Deathly Hallows does not have to be included - i.e. Harry and Ginny might not have had their first kid by this point, but I'd like the same pairings Minor changes to canon allowed - Remus and/or Tonks survives, for example - but not Dumbledore. Try to avoid clichés, unless very cleverly done or twisted Bonuses Explain how they knew each other in previous lives - was Femi the daughter of Ahmose's best friend, were Ahmost and Imhotep related? Buffy/Daniel ship Previous life influences Buffy or Harry early on/unexpectedly when they translate ridiculously old Egyptian heiroglyphs/heiractic (depending on writing) - and then saying: "I can read you know!" Hermione/Willow/Giles/Dawn replies: "Yeah, but ancient Eypgtian?" If Xander features - Jack/Xander bonding - Xander is Jack's spiritual son! Even better, Xander/Jack/Ron bonding - I can see that happening. Buffy/Daniel/Harry bonding If you resurrect Remus - Remus/Giles bonding! Please, I'd love to see some fiction, and I don't think there's enough Stargate/Harry Potter! Lol, Tanydwr
