| Description | An idea that came to me in the middle of the night, one that I'm trying not to write myself due to far too many WiP's. The main BtVS character is to be a Slayer, your choice which one. I'd like to see Kendra or Faith, but any Slayer will work. Give her a pet. Something that she can get attached to and fuss over. Preferably something unusual. And who's to say that a Slayer will have the same idea of what makes a good pet that an ordinary girl who doesn't know about the nasty things in the dark would? Maybe she ends up with a Mogwi (from the Gremlins movies). Maybe it's a Nargle, a Krup, a Kneazle - something from the Harry Potter books (Only Luna knows what a Nargle is, but they sound like they're small. Krups look similar to Jack Russel terriers, Kneazles are magical cats, though the only mentioned abilities are a good sense of judgment about people and being a bit smarter than the average cat). Maybe its some sort of cute fuzzy animal (Fizzgig from Dark Crystal, something from the Labyrinth, a pokemon...) Maybe some sort of lizard - and who knows what size it is, and how big it might get? The challenge isn't about pairings, so I will say no more about that. As for length, I just ask for more than a drabble. |
