| Description | Dawn tries to recreate Ethan's Halloween spell to fight the First. It blows up and she finds herself crashing through a wall and into the Marvel universe. Girl-shaped Keys and chaos magic unmixy? Maybe. Possibly. Just a little. Must Have: Dawn's Keyness and the backlash from the chaos magic somehow translating into superpowers in the Marvel universe. Dawn going from Damsel in Distress to Competent Superhero over the course of the story. Dawn meeting with various Marvel Superheroes/Villains and Superhero/Villain Teams, trying to put together a team/group to help fight the First back in Sunnydale. Optional: A few of the Superheroes/Villains thinking, since Dawn is (or was) "ancient cosmic energy," that she's related to the Phoenix Force and distrusting/fearing her. Perhaps even trying to lock her up or destroy her before she can go "dark." Someone freaking out and wrongly assuming that Dawn *Summers* is another Alternate Universe/Future Timeline daughter of Scott and/or Jean. (Could tie into the whole the Key = Phoenix Force = Dark Phoenix thing above.) "Please. You guys die and come back more than Jesus." "You mean those things with the capes and the underwear on the outside? No, thanks. I'm good." Do Not Want: Character Bashing. Dawn becoming so insanely powerful that she can squish the other super-folks with her big bad Keyness. Dawn's superpowers having nothing to do with her being the Key. She's the Key, deus ex machina of Season 5. Use that. |
