| Description | The title of the challenge is a tad misleading, but it was the best I could come up with. Anyway, at the end of the movie 'Dead Like Me: Life After Death' (the movie based on the show 'Dead Like Me') Joy and Reggie are in a cemetery. The dialogue goes something like this: Joy: You're having a nervous breakdown. Reggie: Can I have it in California? The challenge is to write a story where the pair run into Dawn Summers sometime between seasons 5 and 6 in their new hometown of Sunnydale. Joy should somehow hear/discover that Dawn lost her mother, and she should try to help her. Dawn and Reggie get close, and eventually Reggie tells Dawn about George and Dawn tells Reggie about Buffy. Spike is a major character. Buffy and/or George can make an appearance in in person if the writer wishes. I would like a chapter story, 2 at the least, and at least 1,000 words in length. |
