DescriptionOkay, just in case I don't have a chance to do this anytime soon, I'll put it out there for others to consider...

Instead of moving to Sunnydale, Buffy lived across the street from the Halliwells and became best friends with Phoebe. You know, the seemingly rebellious one? Maybe her rebellion masked what she was really doing with her nights and that was helping her best friend control the local vamp and demon population.

Please don't have:

1. A broody, 'cursed with a soul that could leave anytime' Angel to help her. What the hey, ya' got Cole there already who she can win over.

2. Since I don't remember her being able to sense witches in BtVS, Buffy can't tell that the girls or their grandmother are witches. Whitelighters, that's up to you.
