| Description | That night between Faith and Xander turned out a little differently when Faith ends up pregnant. While Xander wants to keep it Faith puts her foot down ... she has no need for any runny-nosed brats. Xander either finds it himself or goes to Willow for help and she finds it but there's a spell to transfer a fetus. Willow volunteers but the Willow/Xander saga never seems to turn out right so Xander refuses. He does some searching on his own and finds a gender-changing spell ... mostly used in the magical community as a way for same sex couples to have children of their magical bloodlines. Xander, after much thought, figures it's a perfect solution ... a combination of gender-changing and fetus transfer spell. Giving his child a chance at life and leaving Faith free. The problem ... the spells woven together are a bit unstable, all that malicious power floating around on the Hellmouth won't be good for the stability of the spell ... the spell goes, even for a second, and that's an automatic abortion. Plus there's the added danger of demons and vampires, one wrong move on patrol or even walking home (it is the Hellmouth) and he could lose the baby. He's gone so far to protect his child that the decision to leave is easy. But where to go? This can be crossed with just about anything, so go wild. Slash pairings are wonderful or het if you keep Xander female. |
