| Description | The myth of the Vampire Slayer goes as follows: "In every generation there is a Chosen One. She alone will stand against the vampires, the demons, and the forces of darkness. She is the Slayer." Analogue to the Slayer legend, there is a Hunter myth: "In every generation there is a Chosen One. He alone will stand against the warlocks, the mages and the forces of darkness. He is the Hunter." So at any moment in time, there is a Vampire Slayer and a Warlock Hunter in existence, both overseen by 'separate' branches of the Watchers Council. When Buffy becomes a Slayer, Harry Potter takes on the mantle of the Hunter. Focus on the Hunter-side of things first, eventually shift to the Sunnydale scene. Suggestions: - Hunter tracks down Glory - Monks of Dagon send the Key to the Hunter instead of the Slayer (or link them together, for example Dawn is Buffy's sister and Sirius' illegitimate daughter, you get the drill) - Hunter uses a staff with a pointy end - ... I might do something with the idea myself, but don't count on it, 's why I'm placing it here as a challenge. - |
