| Description | Xander in an HP crossover. You can decide when to put him but my idea? Everything plays out just the same in BtVS world or maybe a bit more gruesome? At the 'end' Xander wakes up screaming. He has a latent seer gene (parents are squibs or descended from a squib years ago - none have shown potential. Maybe that kicked out ancestor moved to the Hellmouth in the hopes that his line would pick up some of the free floating power, thus making them magical again?) That gene kicks in, in combination with the Hellmouth (sentient and connected to itself - past, present, and future - not wanting to go kablooey, it unlocks the gene and sends some of its own power to strengthen the vision) and that's why his vision is so detailed and long. Maybe now that the power has kicked in (I see this as before Buffy moves to Sunnydale) an alarm in the MOM goes off - the first (think up a cool name) seer in however long has just awoken. They send representatives - Dumbledore sending his own OotP members - only to find a young kid. Crazy, right? They attempt to reason with him - get him to come with them, telling him how much they need him but Xander knows he's needed on the Hellmouth for a bit longer. It'd be fun to watch both Fudge and Dumbledore try to convince him - reason, threats, kidnapping attempts ahoy! All while Xander is attempting to fix and stop things to come. Watching them bumble and stomp their way through each of his attempts like a herd of magical elephants would be such fun! |
