| Description | Buffy's mom didn't react as strongly to the existence of the supernatural as one might think. She did kick her daughter out for fighting them, and spent some time in denial land, but we could contribute that to Sunnydale Syndrome. She seemed to get along well with Spike in the later seasons, making him hot chocolate and comforting him when he was feeling down. So, why was she so good with the supernatural? (once she left Denial Land) Had she encountered it before or something similar? Was she part of the world herself and only trying to run away from it? Come up with your best reasons. You can exaggerate how she reacts when she finds out, or have her be completely unsurprised with the revelation. Its up to you. Requirements: - Can be AU or behind the scenes cannon. - Try to keep people mostly in-character - Your story can take place during any season of Buffy, but if it is after Joyce dies be sure to give a reason. (ex. she could be immortal, back from the dead, a clone, etc. as long as it fits in the Buffy world or your crossover world) Suggested Crossovers: - Harry Potter - Highlander - X-men - Stargate - The Chronicles of Narnia - Twilight |
