What if it was a curse, not a curse on them but a one passed down from a common ancestor. From the biblical Cain, slayer of his brother , Gods favored son Abel. To punish Cain the Angels cursed his blood, forever damning his descendants to wage war upon each other as he is forced to watch unable to interfere. Knowing that the Prize they fight so diligently for is the chance to fight and kill him and inherit his curse True Immortallity. What happens when he meets a pre-Immortal who reminds him so much of himself. A boy who never measures up, who slayed his own brother (even if he wasnt in blood). Someone with so much darkness so barely restrained. What happens when Cain decides that Alexander Harris will be the one to help him unite the Immortals, wage a bloody and terrifying war against the Angels and put an end to The Game forever. |
