| Description | Just finished reading 'Swamp Thing: Bad Seeds' and was struck by a challenge. At the end Swamp Thing throws five of the elements into the wind for someone else to be champion of them while keeping the plant element. My challenge is for someone to write a story where one of the Scoobies gets one of the elements of earth, fire, water, air, or flesh. The rules are as follows: 1) Willow can not get an element; she is too powerful as is. If you want Magic to be a seventh element and have Willow be it champion then that is okay but she doesn't get any others. 2) Don't assign someone an element that doesn't mix well with them. This means don't give Spike or Angel the fire element because fire and vamps don't mix. 3) Only one Scooby can be given an element. This means that you can't give the Scoobies all the elements up front. If you want to have more than one Scooby become an elemental than have the second Scooby kill an elemental, which will transfer that elementals power to that Scooby. 4) Must meet Swamp Thing some time in the fic even if it is just a short cameo. This is the challenge, take it and have fun with it. |
