I agree this is a cute intro to a story or series of ficlets as Buffy and Simon occasionally cross paths.

FYI: for many things Saintly

Aw. Sweet little fluffyness. I loved The Saint, and this would make an interesting longer work.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from Nozomi
Plotless, yet somehow interesting. I like the rather casual response Buffy has when she finds out he's a thief, and she shrugs off the fact that she's helping him walk away from the Russian Mafia. Hmm, I was reading the other reviews and it said there was an earlier series about him? I guess I'm too young too, I only saw the movie. Have to look into that. Well, I enjoyed reading this!

So, how did Buffy know Simon's name at the end? He never told her. Was there some subtle clue that she picked up, like maybe a license plate on his car that said SIMON T?
Comments from author:
She opened the passport he dropped... It was quick, and possibly too subtle, I guess. :-)

It's a shame that the recent film is such a poor portrayal of the character; he basically comes across as having a very weak personality, with little to distinguish him from any other action film character - the earlier TV series, books, etc. were much better, and I think your story suffers for this.
Comments from author:
I never saw the original series; I think I'm a bit young. But I will put something on Netflix so I can see it. I also didn't know there were books! If you would be willing to recommend, I would be willing to try them! I'm always looking for something good to read. :-) Maybe once I get to know the character better, I can write this ficlet differently. Or scrap it and come up with something completely different.

Thanks for the feedback. You're one of my favorite authors on this site (I get notified when you update), so it's nice to get feedback/criticism in any form from you.

I've never seen "The Saint" crossed with Buffy...very interesting.
Comments from author:
It was a FFA pairing that seemed intriguing, so I went with it. :-)

Ok not a bad 'encounter' story. But it didn't seem to have much point to it. It didn't go anywhere, but it would have made a good intro to a longer story.

You don't know London do you? I have the same problem writing about American cities.

All the best,
Dave T.
Comments from author:
I've been to London, but no, I don't know it well at all--mostly just the tourist areas. I was pretty much going on the shots of the hotel/apartment-type place in "The Saint" in the scene where Simon is online with the bad guy, who is tracing him. We didn't get to see his escape, so I went with that.

I may have Buffy run into Simon again, but by the end of the movie he's with Emma. Since I tend to think that's where he belongs, I don't think I'll mess with that. Thanks for the feedback!
