Oh! Dawn died, so they allowed her heart to be given to this other girl? But, the girl's body was rejecting it until she had the blood of Buffy. Makes sense, because Dawn was made human by using Buffy's blood, and if the heart is living on without the protective blood of the Slayer, it could collapse.
So very cool. Would be great to see more.

Love the story, and totally wouldn't mind some sort of sequel if you can think of one. However, I was watching this House episode tonight, and I think Michelle's character's name was actually Melinda, not Linda. So you might want to check that out. Other than that, great story.

I MUCH prefer your version to the way this episode originally ended up (something so disturbing about House's final examination of the kid in the elevator, even if it did save her life). Very neat!

I liked it, but there needs to be a little more backstory. You may want to explore how Dawn became Linda beyond stating that it was related to the key, and why her health slid downhill.

Really very clever. I loved the parallel between Buffy diving onto the bed and swan diving off of the tower (whether it was intentional or not). And you have House's voice down perfectly.

You've really got me interested in what happened that could explain this particular story. I have some ideas, but I'm waiting for you to follow this one up. Very well done, and I watched the rerun of this episode just last week, so it has a very new and very fresh perspective.
