So far I enjoyed this very much and am impatiently waiting to find out where you're planning to take this... and us. Everyone feels to be basically in character. Although Jayne hasn't said anything yet... hmm, should be interesting to hear his comments on Buffy... Oh, and if you let Wash and Xander loose, now that should be... hehe, can't wait! Good writing so far, keep us updated!

Hee, thanks! I know, I know, Jayne hasn't said a word! But there're so many people! It's hard to get 13 people to all have significant parts and/or lines in one fic. But I'm hoping in future chapters to explore different characters and have different characters interact. Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, I figured that our little Dawnie's all grown up now and living elsewhere on her own. So, of course, if she's gone for a while Dawn will start to worry and Buffy will miss Dawn, but for a couple days at least, Dawn's not the big issue. Thanks for the review!
A little less chaos then usual, but a good start. Thoughts on the portal malfunction: have their African target be a village whose name translates to "Serenity" in the local language that was built on the banks of a river named T'ham. The key phrase was "take us to *Serenity* by the river T'ham". The goddess misunderstood. ;)
