Review:
Just reread this and of my favorite lines is the cop bring called and compared to lamb chops.

Review of chapter "Chapter 8: Faith waxes eloquent" from JJDudeman
Review:
I'm a fan of your whole series, but this initial story is far and away the best - largely because of how self-contained the crossover is. If I'd never seen SVU, I wouldn't need to research it.
I find your Xander to be ALMOST too good to be true, his mastery and competence very clever and well done. The limp especially for realism, especially the details of his private struggles with it.
I'm choosing here to say all this for 2 points: 1: Faith's sewer analogy with the SVU cops is brilliant. Not even sure I agree with everything personal she says, but her basic Stabler as bully for the good guys appraisal is good. But mostly her entire "living in the crap" speech is brilliant.
2: George Travers deserves a Best Original Character award. She's great from start to end and the story would be much less without her. Kudos for not overussing her, either, even though I might've wanted more.

Review of chapter "Chapter 9: Like a brat hot off the grill." from SpacedCadet
Review:
Great story!

One nit: "Over curry one mocked Giles as “Buffy’s Lapdog” or “The American”"

Shouldn't that be: one mocked XANDER ?

Review of chapter "Chapter 19: Life goes on, again, some more" from ChaosLady
Review:
This was really good! I'm sad to see it end, but I'm glad there was a happy ending. For Xander and Faith anyway, not so much for Benson, Stabler and Munch and Tutuola. It's very few crossovers that seamlessly meld a crime show and a supernatural one. Well written.

Review of chapter "Chapter 19: Life goes on, again, some more" from JonnyNapalm
Review:
I've been going through all manner of fics here at TTHM and this is one of my new favorites. I can't wait to read more of the series. The strength and vulnerability of both Xander and Faith have always been primary reasons that I enjoy them so much as characters and that comes across incredibly well in this first entry. Great work, thank you for sharing it.

Review of chapter "Chapter 19: Life goes on, again, some more" from bucksavage
Review:
Just finished the rest of the story....I don't know where to start. This was just a pleasure to read; the timing was amazing, the characters, nit just Faith: Xander, Elliot, Olivia, Munsch, you had them all so spot on. Too many awesome one liners and inside jokes to even begin to mention, all with a decent dose of the clinical, tactical police grit of SVU and the dark, black humour and blood of BTVS.

Review of chapter "Chapter 12: Munch and Fin Go Clubbing" from bucksavage

Read through to chapter twelve, my god! This is damned good! You have Faith and Xander down pat, and you have Stabler and Benson, Munsch and Fin all down to a tee as well.

Review of chapter "Chapter 7: And a feather boa." from mizzdestiny
Review:
Oookay. That was a fabbbulous chapter. I now have to catch my breath :) I practically died laughing at the first mention of Xander's Oxnard trip (really? *Snyder*? ha!). Then had to stop and cheer for an awesome dive into paranoid!Munch-land. And then really wanted to whack Stabler upside the head - what *is* that guy's issue?. I've always felt he comes on too strong. Now I can't wait for SVU to get the big reveal. :D

Review of chapter "Chapter 19: Life goes on, again, some more" from SEAborg
Review:
I quite enjoyed this story. IMHO, there's not enough stories (that I've found yet, at least) where the police actually think the Scoobies are responsible for what's happening, and those that do have such an aspect tend to be cleared up too easily. (like the police in the tv series, who would completely forget about Buffy by the next episode)

However, this story seemed to do the theme quite a bit of justice. Nice work.

Review of chapter "Chapter 19: Life goes on, again, some more" from pagansun
Review:
A really great read :)

The cops blaming our heroes for the supernatural crimes before being forced to see the truth is a bit of a favourite theme of mine, though I haven't found much of it in the Buffy fandom. And this was very well done. It pained me a bit to see the detectives loose the memories, but I can see why it was the logical choice and best for everyone involved. Munch might possibly have been able to handle the knowledge, but he wouldn't have accepted that everyone else had had their memories altered, so not really an option after all.

Your Munch-voice was brilliant btw, especially when he's trying to think of possible explanations for what happened in the alley and when he's considering who to tell about the supernatural. Munch is one of my favourite characters on tv, and the main reason I watch SVU at all (just wish he'd get more screen time) and you really nailed him, I think.

I avoided this story at first thinking it might be sappy, but instead find a nice and well thought out story :) Thanks for the great writing. I have an enjoyable time reading this fic.
