That is one way to wake the world up! I don't think I can imagine two people less suited to being public heroes. They are going to hate it :)
Comments from author:
LOL, it's weird to say the least.

Review of chapter "Time to Rest" from MinaLynn
Review:
You know I think that this is the only story that mentions Sam taking some sort of martial arts while in school. To be honest, even though he'd been kicked out of the family, I figured he would have taken advantage of as many things he could in college. Learning more fighting skills, hacking skills, etc.
Comments from author:
Yes, he's not stupid and in the first ep he went hand to hand with Dean and wasn't all that bad. That told me that he was keeping up with his work outs and such. Even a year without the training would have slowed him way, way, way down. I did martial arts when I was a teen, now there's no way I could even do half of the stuff I remember being able to do. Use it or lose it really applies in these things.

I see Sam as one of those people who simply love learning. I can see him diving in to learn everything that John didn't want him to as well as anything John did, simply because it was something that he hadn't come across before.

Review of chapter "Time to Rest" from Rivulet
Review:
What a great way for Sam to 'come out' about hunting to his gf and classmates. The fear and helplessness Sam was feeling as he knew the only thing he could do was watch, and not go help, as his father and brother jumped into the fray was palable. Great ending to Angel's final season, and nice to see everyone working together. Really liked that as soon as he could Sam went and got them and lol to Dean's reaction to being famous.
Comments from author:
Thanks. This was a bit of an experiment in style for me so it's great to hear that people liked it.

Great story. I recommend this to anyone who loves Supernatural/Buffy/Angelverse crossovers. And even to those who don't like Supernatural. This was amazing. I can't wait to read the next story. I am off to do that now.
Comments from author:
Thank you. I hope you like that one as well.

Thanks, this was another one of those weird ones that don't fit my basic style but they seem to work all the same.

Review:
That was very well done. I like the way you told it from Dean's pov - it was interesting and different. It was fun watching the various Hunters, Heros, and Champions work together. I wonder what will happen next.
I'll be thinking about this one for a long time.
Comments from author:
The next story in the series isn't nearly as exciting, I'm afraid. At least after the first few chapters. It is more of an arrainging pieces story, although it's rather long. I hope you enjoy it.

Review:
Yeah, you definitely haven't seen 'Not Fade Away' (the demon army ep). Though that being said, I *totally* like your version a heck of a lot more than I liked the WB's/Joss's version. Even taking out the Winchesters and the reporters, your version of the demon army battle was closer to how things should have played out in that episode. (::grumbles:: brain dead AI crew knowingly going into major apocalyptic battle and not calling for slayer army backup ::shakes head:: Just. Plain. *Stupid*.)

Liked how Sam and Dean had a phone code and that they had the "how fast to wake up" code as well. It's always the little things like that that we never see on the shows and yet you *know* they have to have some kind of system like that. Keep up the awesome work!
Comments from author:
Thank you! I've only read a summary of that ep (read a quick skim through at the bookstore so I didn't have to buy the book, hehe) and I agree that the real version sucked big time.

The phone code came from the ep 'Wicked' and the wake up fast code came from the Mercedes Lackey Valdemar novels. It was only a very short and fast mention from the view point of one of her mercenaries but I thought it made sense here that the Winchesters would have something similar. In 'Dead Man's Blood' John woke up both boys by shaking their ankles. They both woke up rather sleepy and not at all alarmed. Dean was even knuckling his eyes! Yet, I'd also seen them wake up straight into combat mode. So, legs became the 'safe' wake up call.

The next story is Winchester Family Battles.

Review:
This is such a great story, I would love to see a follow up to it, where Jessica gets to meet and greet the elder Winchesters without the stress of having averted an apocolypse. I would love to see it!
Comments from author:
Six months ago I never would have guessed I would have people actually asking me to write a follow up to one of my stories. Thank you. I really mean that. I think I may have already started one, or rather I think that one of the stories I'd been playing around with has morphed into a follow up sometime down the road.

Good story, and you wrapped it up nicely.
*grins*
Love the way Dean was pissed about no longer being able to hustle pool. Ah, good times
Comments from author:
That and losing his fake ids! Cause you know if everyone knows who he is and what he looks like, he can't pass himself off as anyone else now.
