really enjoyed reading this series of drabbles; I'm almost sad that this is the last one. though with a story like this you could probably keep going for a long time & the end was sweet :)

I was just re-reading this amazing series and wanted to let you know that I enjoyed it even more this time around. This epilogue has an absolutely perfect ending. :)

I would absolutely love to read more of this series...some of the future events of the Anita Blake Universe would be so interesting with Lissbeth involved...just imagine the meeting between her and Edward...or just how quickly is would take for her to tear Chimera apart... *drools* All of those would be so fun. :)

A wonderful series, wonderful ending. I can't find a thing wrong with it, but...
A very amusing short drabble might be a 1st person of the Vampire that challenged Buffy when she first appeared in the Anitaverse after "The Gift". Aside from big cats being her animal to call, we don't actually know much about the nature of her power. (However, you do allude to a certain similarity to The Night, with Lissbeth as an equal and opposite force. The massive scale of power, the ability to call all big cats, a distinct and strong nature smell associated with her presence, and the series opening in the "windowless room" recalling the room Night sleeps in all bring The Night to mind.)

Oh, that was just beautiful! I'm sure I reviewed before, but reading it all again was no less poignant. A truely enchanting love story of the best kind.

I like this line: "It seemed the two of us were in perfect agreement over which Council people were bearable and which were despicable." It really illustrates Buffy and Anita's similarities.
And they all lived happily ever after.
Comments from author:
Okay, first of all, thanks heaps for all those reviews. Secondly, I'll try to answer the quesions you brought up.
-In the series Buffy always sucks in French. She hates it and I honestly don't remember any point in time where anyone commented on her rembering French from Halloween. Xander was the only one who remembered stuff. If I'm wrong and her knowing French is actually canon, then I guess I just missed it.
-Buffy says she 'guesses' it's called the Third Inferno. The whole reason I invented all the other Infernos is so she can know about them and then draw conclusions about the Third. Everything else she knows comes from what Anita said. The story about French aristocracy being made up of vampires is now a new one and...Ok, I just reread the part. I guess I never wrote it, but in my head, all three Infernos happened on the same date, so that's how Buffy knows to suggest it.
-Ehm, there are no jumps in timeline. It's all pretty and linear. She happens before all the 'How to' stories and from the order of review alerts I got, I think you didn't read it that way.
I'm pretty sure there was one other question I wanted to comment on but I forgot it. Sorry. Again, thanks for reviewing.

I was just re-reading this series and just had to tell you again just how amazing your writing is. You understand the characters and can convey their emotions in a way that the reader can't help but experience them. Thank you for writing. :)

i truly loved this series....i love reading your work, and though i know this was an old one....i felt like re-reading it....i have one question regarding the necklace/pendant Lissbeth gave JC: i thought vampires couldn't be around silver, let alone touch it or wear it? that was the only thing that stuck out.....the rest was simply brilliant..as always...now i'm just sitting around waiting for you to post the follow up to Lunar.......:-D
ever a fan ~drea~
