The background information provided in the last few chapters is essential to understanding the alternate reality. Its detailed but the way its presented keeps it from overwhelming the story. Really nice flow.

Interesting take on the Sentinel universe
I like Spike's vamp side coming out.
Good story.

PS: there was a female Sentinel in the series. Can't remember her name but she was a thief and tried to kill Blair. Her totem animal was either a Leopard or a Jaguar. (I can never tell them apart)

I only have the first season of the sentinel on DVD and my memory of the series is sketchy so I do not remember the female sentinel.

I love this. I love to see Xander being taken care of. Spike being so good Xander reminds me of his devotion to Dru; with the difference of Xander being totally lucid and able to be devoted to Spike in return.

I had many reader who had no knowledge of the Sentinel TV serious and many readers who did not read Buffy fan fic, but it makes me feel good that this story could reach both of them.

Yes there will be a sequel. A have two plot bunnies currently in a fight to the death over the right to the sequel.

I am planning on a sequel. Right now two plot bunnies are fighting it out.
I need to step back a bit and get some perspective. I have been writing this story since June. Right now the sequel is a ghost.All the question you mentioned are part of it. But that is how I write. It swirls in my head until it solidifies and then the drive to write can not be denied.
