This is still just as delicious as it was the first time I read it. It was one of the first stories I read at this site (and for BtVS) and it stands the test of time and experience.

I found myself bored one afternoon and decided to reread some of my favorites. I loved this story the first time I read it and I still love it. I was wondering. Have you ever thought of writing a sequel set several years in the future past season 7 ?

Thanks for reviewing! I wrote that ficlet as a remix of a drabble by Laney, to cheer her up when she was depressed. If you want more of that universe, you will have to ask her--fair warning, she's slowly but steadily chugging away on several different fanfic epics that she's been working on for a long time, in addition to going to law school--she really doesn't have the time or energy to put into a new project. Not from me; it's not my story. Laney's the one you'd have to ask, and given how stressed out she's been about things lately I really doubt it'll be forthcoming. Anyway, she's got several stories that are long-running WIPs that would be first on her list to finish if/when she is de-stressed enough to go back to fanfic writing on a regular basis.

I'd love to see them run into each other again someday, too. Alas, the story is not mine. It belongs to Laney. She's the one you have to petition to get a sequel, though I wouldn't advise bugging her about it too much. She's been under a lot of stress lately, including as regards her fanfic, though it is getting better.

Heh, that was so much fun! Daniel being amused about Willow trying to sneak him past her mum, for example. Also I like the way Willow just spilled all the Hellmouth stuff to Daniel right off the bat. And the Giles/Daniel interaction. More soon, I hope. :)

Nope, sorry, this was just a ficlet to cheer Laney up (at which it apparently succeeded). It's her story, I just remixed it; she would have to do any further work. And given the fact that she is currently incredibly busy with rl, that's probably not going to happen any time soon. I'm glad you liked it, though, and thanks for reviewing!

I quite agree! Unfortunately, it's Laney's universe and a remix of her story, so that's completely up to her. And she is extremely busy with real life atm.
