I thoroughly approve of this recent spate of discworld fics. At this rate I'll have to start adding support for tags to set the correct typeface ;)

I'm not sure about your timelines here (possibly because I didn't bother to read the disclaimers properly - I haven't gone back to look) - has Amy been de-ratted yet? If not, there could be an interesting subplot available with the Grim Squeaker.

EDIT: I didn't spot the "complete" flag - I'm in agreement with the other reviewers - this is a good first chapter but not a complete story. If this were a TV programme the theme music would just be starting.

I myself tend to be slightly disappointed when I come across a story that has a lot of potential but only goes so far and is marked complete, and I can certainly see how this story would fit the bill. I don't see however, what makes this story differant from any other one-shot? Aren't they all in essence "first chapters"?

I would truly appreciate it if you could tell me how this fic is differant. The simple truth is I never even imagined going further than this point... it seemed complete to me. Actually my original idea was to start a series with this fic as a base, but each new story would take Susan to a differant world. I stopped when I realized I wanted to write about fandoms I knew next to nothing about.

Please don't let this really be the end. It has so much possibility.

Don't worry, I'm thinking very hard of a way to continue this :)
