Think about the surprise when Jayne finds out that the Buffy-bot can fight too. You think he would be disappointed or relieved when he also finds out that the Buffy-bot has a no human killing 'rule' in her programming. For I'm sure Willow would have programmed it into the Buffy-bot, when she was upgrading her.

Very funny, I even laughed at the summery! However, once again this sounds like one of those stories that should be the opening scene of a much longer piece...very frustrating. You had good chartacterisation there and I really think you should have run with it to make it into some thing longer, maybe no more than 5000 words.
Anyway nicely written and a great idea. Keep writing.

Heheh - although I haven't seen the Buffybot episodes as yet, I can imagine a possible sequel:
The entire crew charging down the corridors to see several Jayne-sized dents in the walls - and Jayne (once again) getting his arse handed to him by a ninety-pound girl!

Jayne was completely disgustingly in character. I don't know whether to laugh or possibly heave at the disturbing imagery of him reassembling the Buffy-Bot. Instead I’ll give two thumbs up for creativity and making Kaylee my new hero.

How did you manage to make it funny AND squicky at the same time? Part of me wants to laugh, and the other part is stuck alternating between "Guh" and "Eeew".

:) Good - good - by far my most favorite review for this story (no offense to everyone else) :) When I got done writing this story I sat back and considered deleting it. It is just so wrong on so many different levels.
FYI - Jayne/BuffyBoy smut might be in your future. Your review has definitely tempted me to see if I can push the boundaries one step further!
I thought about attacking this pairing myself, and this is pretty much what I had in mind, but I couldn’t figure out a set-up for the two of them to meet up. You handled it perfectly.
