Review of chapter "Calm before the...." from ALM
Review:
I love this story. When are you going to finish it?
Comments from author:
Haha, well done on digging this up. After no updates in over 2 years I'm afriad my muse is pretty much dead for this one. And looking back on it, it needs a major grammatical and layour overhaul which I'm not ready to be doing right now. But thanks for your review, I've got a lot of free time right now so who knows, maybe I will do something with it. :)

Still very interested in seeing what you do with this, but because I am not a familiar with some of the source material I will need more chapters to figure this out.
Comments from author:
Thanks. As I'm off work for a week I should have more time which will hopefully mean more chapters.

Review of chapter "Calm before the...." from celebrindal
Review:
I really enjoy your story, not least of all because I adore the Silmarillion. One tiny nit-pick: draws? I think you mean drawers. But otherwise, fabulous. And I definitely squee-ed outloud when the messenger said he was of the house of Fingolfin, who is my favorite Elf ever. :)
Comments from author:
Whoop's :P yeah, thats the one I meant. Sadly I have no intention of having Fingolfin in this story, mostly due to the fact I've placed it around 40-50 years after his death. So short of something dramatic and kind of senseless due to him having little love for Feanor's sons, I doubt he'll be featuring much in this story. Members of his house will have a part through, not just the messenger.

Review of chapter "The Judgement Of Maedhros" from Amai
Review:
Interesting to see where this would go, although the chapters are a bit short. Still, a rather unusual scenario

Review of chapter "The Judgement Of Maedhros" from meekster
Review:
I know nothing about the first age, but I know a little about The Lord Of The Rings and I'm always ready to give a new Buffy centered fic a try. What I really like about yours is the originality (ie. No dropping in on the council of Elrond), I also happen to like the way you write. Its so nice to read cohesive sentences and proper grammar, it's also quite expressive, I really think that you could take this fic far if you so choose. (although I'm really petitioning for longer chapters)
I can't wait to see what happens next so I hope you update soon.
Comments from author:
If you want to know more, I recomend reading "The Silmarillion". It's my favorite of Tolkien's work. I too was sick of reading about Buffy landing in Rivendell/Council Of Elrond. Althrough I understand its an easy place for an author to start, just about all of the fics start like that. thanks for you're comments and making longer chapters is something I'm attempting to do. I guess it feels longer writing it that it actually is!

Review of chapter "Himring" from Almadynis
Review:
Interesting idea...keep it going! It is looking good!

My only gripe is that you keep using contractions where they shouldn't be. Please read over your chapter first or let someone else read it to catch them. With such a wonderful plot and characterization, it is really distracting.

This looks like it could be an answer to challenge 987 I made over a year ago. Still too short to give a real review however.

Review of chapter "Of Awakening and Glowing People" from MrPowell
Review:
First age with the sons of Feanor? This could be interesting. I'll have to keep an eye on this, even though the oath and the Sons of Feanor's slightly destructive tendancies might make tis very interesting. Just make sure you don't make Buffy somehow cause one of the brothers to attempt to renounce their oaths cause Tolkien made it quite clear that they wanted to but couldn't.

I've never seen a First Age crossover fic before. It's an interesting concept and I look forward to seeing where it heads.
