You have these characters and situations pitch perfect, dude!

That was awesome! I was really hoping that there would be some good Psych stories on this site, seeing as how it's one of my favorite shows.
You did a really good job writing this. You really captured the personalities of the characters and created a good mystery/crime for them to solve.
I have one question for you though... What happened to Chief Vick?
All in all it was a great story.

This was written to take place after "Shawn vs the Red Phantom" 1.08 in September 2006 and "Forget Me Not" 1.09 in January 2007. In the show, it was hinted that Chief Vick was on maternity leave and Shawn suggested she should "come back in January." There's never really been anything given in the show that she did take a break that long, but I wrote this in October 2006 only having seen the first 8 episodes. So I just made it to where Lassiter had chief duties while Chief Vick was away.

P.S. Only having watched the first 8 episodes is also why Henry and Shawn's relationship is so tense in this, when later on we find that they ease up on each other. But I used what I had to go with to guess their relationship.

Great story didn't suspect the guy at all. But I kinda had a feeling the Jessica was evil, cuz Gus does have bad luck with girls.

Yay!!! Psych fanfic!!! I'm so excited, yes I am, doin' a little dance... And even better, it looks like it's going to be good, which I'll admit I was worried about. Nothing sucks like getting your hopes up only to have them dashed the minute I actually start reading the story. Great job on Shawn's voice, it's totally him through and through. You get a billion imaginary (yet oh-so-yummy) cookies from me for writing a Psych crossover, yes you do, and you get more later if you keep up the good work!
