I'm working on a new chapter. It's not at the top of the list, so I can't give you a definite idea as to when it'll be posted.

Any idea if and when this might be updated?

Because this just screams for another dozen chapters or so. ;-)

I actually have been working on the next chapter every once and awhile. Kinda of waiting to see how the Planetary series plays out before I go all out in getting the next chapter out.

update. I finally am working on this story with a clearer idea of where I want it to go. One problem I had was to figure out a planetary type adventure to write about, having done that I am back to work.

Really looking forward to more of this fic. Planetary is new to me, but it seems like it could be a realistic x-over. Sure hope you haven't ditched this story, 'cause I think it has promise.

I really, really, REALLY like this idea, and I hope we see more of this story in the future.

I also like the fact that you had Buffy and Giles both immediately recognized that they screwed up and wanted to rectify the situation, but were unable to do so because of time constraints, not because they didn't realize their mistake.

I'm looking forward to seeing Willow's reaction to finding out that Xander has left, and seeing what she does to try to get him to return.

Finally , when is this set in the Planetary time period?

Now THIS is an interesting cross! I'd love to see more, even if only to see what "orientation" is like for a newcomer to the Planetary organization.

I like that you aren't belaboring exactly what was said, and requiring direct rebuttal for every single word. You are giving the other characters a break that most authors won't by making them immediately regret what was said, and by introducing a NEW character to be the completely unforgiveable one. And Andrew is finally used effectively -- sensitive without being simpering, eager to intervene but not annoying.

I really hope that you will continue this story, whether as a continuous narrative or a series of independent anecdotes. You have an excellent premise, your pacing is good, and the logic behind every character's motivations is rock solid. This, or something else, KEEP WRITING!

I'm a Planetary fan, but they did have this habit of hiring superhumans. That makes me more than a bit curious as to this story's direciton....

Nice story, muchly liked it. I'm guessing Buffy and Giles told Xander they didn't want him "in the way", are ya gonna give Xander his own superpower or give him the role of Elijah Snow?.
