I love how he connects so well with Dawn, always wanting to protect and love her.

I just twigged onto this series the other day & wasn't sure I would like it as I'm not that keen on Anita (the character, granted mostly based on fanon & 2 books); however, you've really sold me in this story. Nathanial is my favorite character so anything that features him makes me happy.

This little side story isn't so little emotionally. A wonderful moment of sharing between Dawn & Anita then Nathaniel and Anita. Nathaniel's background is so heartbreaking considering his sweet nature, yet it is what also what makes him such a wonderful caregiver for Dawn. Well written and heartfelt.

I really adore this series and hope that you will post more soon.

This was a very enjoyable chapter. The only real down part being how unfinished it feels to have a "fin" tag at the end of it.

Poor Nathaniel..still trying to understand his abuse. Your story points out how vulnerable children are. Nice seeing Anita in a patient, supportive role.

Oh, God!!!! By the end of this chapter I was almost in tears! Nathaniel is one of my favorite characters and he is so very vulnerable, yet he inevitably does and says the right, no the heroic thing. He would be drawn to Dawnies vulnerability, and want to protect, and hold her. Damn good writing!!!!
