Review of chapter "Epilogue: The Evidence of Things Not Seen" from DieselDriver
Review:
Ok, I know you've written or started a sequel. I hope they can become integrated instead of being a much more attractive version of Jekyl & Hyde.

Review of chapter "Inferno" from DieselDriver
Review:
I tried several times to work my way through the original inferno, just to see what was in it. I could not force myself to do so. Dealing with archaic word forms and the poetic writing just made it impossible for me to concentrate on it. I've just read to much modern prose. Moby Dick was easy peasy in comparison for all of being 300 years old (250?).

I did however read Larry Niven's "Inferno" in a single sitting, finishing at 2:30 in the morning when I had to be at work at 7 AM that same morning. Anyone who has not read it should do so and be prepared for a treat of epic proportions.

I know, different tastes make the world spin I'm sure.

Review:
Read this "Once she was bought, she stayed bought." as a description of an "honest" politician in one of Heinlein's works.

Review of chapter "My Enemy, My Ally" from DieselDriver
Review:
I've read dozens of these "Buffy" crossovers and fan fictions and I hate Travers with a passion that makes it a good thing for him that he's a fictional character. In every single case with only one exception, and that was a very small exception, he has been a most hateful character. Worse than any of the demons or even Angelus of the vampires. Apparently you have to be human to be the most evil. Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, The Kim's of N. Korea, Khaddafi, Mohommed. There's just something about someone who has the capability of being so good, Mother Theresa good, that makes it so bad when they turn that far away from God and give their heart and soul to Satan. Lila isn't near as bad as Travers, she at least knows what she is doing is totally wrong. He is apparently without remorse or even the thought that he should have remorse. The amount of evil that has been done in the name of doing good is just enormous.

I really dislike Amy, with that said I loved the way she dismantled that reporter.

Review of chapter "The Same Stupid Questions" from DieselDriver
Review:
Sometimes I think our own press, television and newspapers are being turned into Pravda. After all, the word pravda means "truth". There's about as much truth in pravda as there is in the new york times or the la time or cbs, nbc, abc, cnbc or cnn. They are all worthless rags.

Review of chapter "Monday Morning" from DieselDriver
Review:
It's absolutely amazing to me the Horrific EVIL that has been done in the real world for what the people doing it thought was the greater good.

I know it's a story but they seem nearly real to me and Why can't AMY TAKE DARIA'S WORD FOR IT!!! Oh wait, those were supposed to be question marks. I guess I was shouting in my head. Angel was very restrained. I'd probably done something far worse than just run out of the building. Why can't they understand that they are planning to MURDER a person. Sure, she's only technically 4 years old and she did some bad things and she's sharing a body, but that's not an excuse to murder the person who is Faith. I'm expecting something really cool to happen. Daria just might shock them all.

Review of chapter "April 10, 1997, by Amy Barksdale" from DieselDriver
Review:
Dang! this is turning into a real tear jerker. That's ok as long as it has a good ending. Good meaning neither one dies but the ideal solution is to join them into one in which the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. Because Faith has learned a lot and Daria really needs to get the stick out of her ass and learn to be with people instead of being around people. Her desire for solitude could be tempered by Faith's gregarious nature and vice versa.

Review of chapter "Entertain Me" from DieselDriver
Review:
I'm beginning to think that Faith is the more likeable of the two/one. If Faith eventually remembers all of what occurred before she had her "break" would that be the integration? What if there was still a Daria inside with only her memories and none from the time after the 9th? Also occurred to me, what happens if they both remember but are not integrated?

Review of chapter "In Dreams" from DieselDriver
Review:
Oh wow. I tried to read some of Delany's work and it was so freaking boring I gave up. Gave it up after paying full price for the book. Don't remember which book. It was quite some time ago. You're writing is so much better than I remember of that stuff. Whew. Mind you, when I find something interesting I HATE stopping even to eat. I've lost 130 pounds through gastric bypass so if I hate stopping to eat, think how that puts my interest in good reading. Yours is good reading.

Review of chapter "The Day I Was Born" from DieselDriver
Review:
Ok, Daria is a cool name. Morgendorffer? or however you spelled it? I hope it has a purpose other than causing me to have trouble pronouncing it. (came back and fixed it.)

I think "Daria" was the name of one of the characters in one of the "9 princes in Amber" series of books by Roger Zelazny, who had the audacity to die before finishing the series. At least there were a lot of hanging threads that could have been followed up on. Like what happened in Corwin's version of the pattern?
