“I try not to,” Buffy said, remembering how her own mother knocked her out and tried to burn her at the stake.

Brilliant! I like the Leprechaun film series, especially Leprechaun 2. :) I also like these parts of this chapter:

“Depending on what version he got him from, either wrought iron or four leaf clovers are the only things that can kill the leprechaun,” explained Xander, holding an ice pack to his throbbing head, “Since he made Dawnie sneeze three time to get her to loose her soul and get her to marry him I‘m guessing it was ‘Leprechaun 2’, so your best bet is to use the wrought iron and stab him through the heart.”


The Leprechaun materialized next to Dawn, cackling as he watched the show, while the Key struggled to free her other hand.

“With me genius and powers I‘ll make this cave your tomb, and then I’ll put a seed in me young bride’s womb,” the Lep rhymed.

Hmm, I didn't say before, but the idea of them transferring bodies *successfully* and losing because they didn't think things through is absolutely awesome and the people I've told about that part of your story think so too :D
