Review of chapter "Phoning It In" from MarcusSLazarus
Review:
Short, but effective; nice job.

While a part of me thinks that Cole should have noted that the Sunnydale Hellmouth’s only been REALLY active in the last few years- before Buffy arrived the Master probably had such significant control over it that nobody else could be bothered-, you definitely had some interesting ideas about such issues as the reason why Whitelighters were never shown on the Hellmouth, and the character dynamics were generally good; I just think that the Halliwells’ reasons for worrying about Willow were a bit questionable (The reason they don’t rely on magic is the personal gain thing, so they should really express some concern about Willow’s powers ‘catching up’ with her or something like that).

Terrific! one of the best Charmed stories I've ever read. You made a good decision keeping all the relationships in canon. I also liked the characterizations. How Xander can see something wrong with Willow, but Buffy is oblivious. One of my problems with a lot of Charmed/Buffy crossovers is that they insist on a great deal of explaining and exposition, when it's not necessary. You didn't do that and it madee the story much stronger for it.

I also agree with your explanation of why white lighters don't come to Sunnydale. I'd always thought that would be the case.

Keep up the great work!

yosh, a really, really good fic. The Willow you have is very god, if a tad too stubborn- but itt's been a long time since i watched the show.
