I'm not sure crackfic is an apt discussion. Apart from a few moments at the beginning, and Dawn's blatant characterization as an annoying hanger on-er who steals whatever she sees (although I remember Whedon relegating her to the same kind of role), it's so far a well plotted, interesting piece.
So far I love it I do however wonder why Dawn is stilling things and being very very obviouse about it. Buffy and Snape's relashionship is starting to be very intresting more soon please!

Ooh...intriguing. I liked the whole "Are you ready?"
The dream was very interesting. Cool that they both had the same one.
One question. I thought the Nimbus 2001 was named that because that's the year it was made in. Isn't this set in 1997? Or am I just being stupid and reading things wrong? I'm guessing that's it.
Anyway, great story. I'm really enjoying it, and I'm loving the Snape/Buffy. Can't wait until the next chapter!

Thanks for the review. I'm not sure why the Nimbus 2001 is named what it is. According to www.hp-lexicon.org, the Nimbus 2001 was released in 1992 (Harry's 1st year). Anyway, the HP timeline REALLY clashes with the Buffy timeline so I've obviously fudged things a little.
I'm mostly enjoying this story, but I have one hang-up. I really can't see Dawn messing with magic and a love spell the way she is after seeing what happened with Willow. Dawn is immature at times and not one of my favorite BtVS characters, but I still believe she has the brains to know love spells are messy and not a good idea. Other than that, the story seems largely without spelling or grammar mistakes which is always a good thing, and I like what I've read.
The one mistake I did note was this: “What? Werewolves are people twenty-eight days of the year.” Easy to overlook, but I think you meant twenty-eight days of the month. :P
I hope you keep writing and updating this fic so I can continue reading!

I agree with you re:Dawn and magic. I don't think she'd mess with magic after season 6. I started this story to make fun of mary sues & oc's & it's kind of gotten out of control. What I envisioned as 3 or 4 chapters is 9 & growing. Anyway, I think of Dawn as the ultimate mary sue (I really loathe her)--there's her mystical origin and the fact that her arrival goes against stated canon. I've chosen her as the one to crucify in this fic. I'm trying to make her the blatant mary sue but I've spent so much time writing Buffy, Willow, & the HP-verse that I don't think it's really coming through. I think this will come across more in later chapters. Patented Wackiness will ensue. Thanks for the review and the crit!

This is a wonderful fic! I love how you characterized Buffy and Willow - they've got more of the lighthearted feel from the first few seasons of BtVS. The interaction with Buffy and Severus is great so far:) Can't wair for more. pezz

Thanks for the review. I'm glad you like my fic. Seasons 2 & 3 are my favorite seasons of BtVS, so even though this is an alternate season 7 I always try to make the dialogue mirror the earlier seasons. Watch out though, I was thinking of adding a few "I was in hea-ven" moments. It's very hard to write their interactions. I want Severus to be bitter and angry but still brilliant.

Long chapters are wonderful - the more the merrier.
This is very well done. The story flows a good pace, just enough action mixed in with the humor to keep things moving. I can't wait to see more.

Thanks for the review. I never intended for this story to be as long as it is. My initial concept was just to make fun of crossovers and mary sues, but it's kind of grown into an actual story.
