Not how Buffy expected things to go after she reveals her Slayerness I would think! She should benefit from a few rules and some company when Slaying. Kinda like a watcher come to think of it... Your Dawn is very well characterised too, still a child but struggling to respond to a terrible situation with her mother dead and Buffy likely to follow at some stage.

Only recently found this little gem. There are a few grammar problems, but it's a nice compact story & manages to meld the two worlds well - would love to see more some day.
