Another great story in this series. Wesley is just as paranoid and suspicious as he should be but we can see that he is still just as driven to find the truth and fight the good fight as he ever was. He has just lost the certainty of his mission and some of his unjustified arrogance. He is perfect for SG1 even if they don't know some of his specialities even exist. Eventually he coiuld be a useful contact for them if the Goauld ever overflow onto Earth and a Slayer encounters them. I can just see Wesley wandering up to the Scoobies and offering his expertise on the new "demon" they have just encountered :) I did expect a few more exclamations from Wesley when he heard the story though. Something along the lines of "You did what!" "bloody morons!" "buggering wankers!" "That disc was meant to stay buried!" or "Some things are hidden for a reason!" Oh, well. I will just have to imagine him saying that :)

Good for Wes! Always thought it was crappy how the AI team threw him aside, then expected him to keep helping out without forgiving him for his mistake - even if it was a doozy.

Review of chapter "Song and Dance" from starshinedown
Review:
These two stories in the Starting Over series are an excellent blend of the Buffy/Angel and Stargate worlds. Wesley as the potential fifth member of SG-1, as he notes, is an interesting proposition. Where he is at this point in the Angel storyline is wonderfully portrayed--every thing from the diction to the pacing just screams "Wesley."
I'd be very curious to see how Wesley works with the team on future missions. It should be interesting all around.

Re-reading. Did you ever decide - does Daniel come back in this reality - yes or no what happens to Wesley?

There'll be more to this.... eventually. I just finally, about a month ago, got my hands on the Angel Season 4 DVDs and the SG-1 Season 6 DVDs for my own, so that I could write more in the series. *grin* Let's just say that Wes won't follow Jonas' path.

this is a great character study of Wesley post-AtS meltdown. I love the possibilities. The notes said this was part of a series for some prompts. I do hope you perhaps wrote more & didn't post them here. If not, I hope you look at this series again and continue it some day. It's a wonderful portrait of Wesley and offers so many opportunites. (huge bonus it deals quinn out of the SG1 picture which I *love*).

great start to a great series....At least we know wesley won't have problem with guns. I wonder what the team will think of Wes's gadgets? Hope to see more.
