Review of chapter "A Graveyard Introduction" from sylvancat
This is a nice little vignette of John, and Faith too.
So- now I'd like a full-blown crossover, please?
or even just another story or two..;)

Yeah, that sounds like John Winchester alright. Gotta give Faith points for not taking HIS head off, after adding to her injuries by hitting her with a shovel or something, after she'd saved his grizzled butt. Just shows how much she's grown as a person, over the years, that she gave him the card, instead of handing him his own entrails to read. (And why am I not surprised that Robin wouldn't be up for going on the road with Faith? At least they seem to have parted on reasonably cordial terms, in this history.)
Comments from author:
The Faith I'm going for in this series has matured much more than the Faith in Buffy, even S7 Faith. And I'm glad that I got John right. I haven't seen much of him in the series (as far as I've gotten anyway) and I want to make sure I get him right. He is such an important character to Dean and to Sam. Although Faith handing John his entrails would have been rather humurous!

I actually had a different beginning/introduction to this story. It involved Faith and Buffy/Giles/Council fighting over the way that Angel's request for assistance was handled by Giles/the Council - with Faith being on Angel's side. And then Robin and Faith fighting again.

But as you can tell I chose to go with this introduction - which I felt paved a better relationship between Faith and the Council, Faith and Robin, and would ultimately pave a better relationship between the Winchesters and the Council. :)

Thanks for the review - and sorry about the novel of a response! ;)

That was a really cool story. I loved your Faith dialog. I wish you would make it extra chapters and not a series because it is going to be hard to track it.
Comments from author:
Thanks for the review! I wrote Faith out of the first person - crazy huh? I'll email you when I post a new story in the series. Is there anyway to track a series? Hmm...I'll have to check into that - or ask if it can be done!

Review of chapter "A Graveyard Introduction" from (Moderator)KaylaShay
John's mistrust of anyone outside his family, especially someone who is definitely not normal.

Faith being relatively cool about it and just passing along contact info was nice.

I look forward to more!

:) Thanks so much for the review hon! I have the next installment of the series mostly plotted out - or at least enough for the first chapter to get it started. I also have two or three more SPN crossovers bouncing around in my head! Yay for hot Winchesters! :)

Review of chapter "A Graveyard Introduction" from CailleachGwyn
I absolutely adored this story. All it would've taken was for Faith to actually pick up John and sling him over her shoulder. Big tough Ex-Marine would have had fits. Excellent work.
Comments from author:
Haha! The mental image of Faith slinging John around is definitely priceless. I'll have the next installment in the series up within the next week hopefully! There won't be any John slinging but there will be John/Faith interaction. Thanks for the review!

Very good work, i really like the way john was described, in faith's eyes, as an amateur.
Thanks for posting this :-)
Comments from author:
Thanks! I'll admit that I haven't seen that much onscreen time with John - I'm only into the middle of Season 1 with my DVDs so I tried my best with him. But yeah, she definitely does view him as an amateur.
